EDIT: Reached out to customer service as per owner’s review response. Customer service offered me 30% off my next purchase. I expressed that that is not good enough since I spent $200 on a necklace that turned green. I was met with the customer service rep Myka mentioning that I reached out 7 months after the purchase, as if they justifies an expensive necklace turning green in a short period of time, that I never wear in the shower and I’m careful with. She then offered 50% off. I said I don’t wish to spend my money again on another defective, overpriced, low quality necklace and she said that’s all she can offer. Not sure why the owner responded saying they would make this right but then require me to spend more of my own money for me to resolve my own issue by buying a new necklace. All I wanted was to get a replacement necklace so I could see if my original one was defective. I would happily send them the original back in exchange, but that is not an option they will offer. Buy jewelry elsewhere! You can go to a clothing store and get a cheap initial necklace that won’t turn green this fast and will save you money.
Original review: Initial pendant necklace turned green after less than a month. It costed $200 Canadian. When I reached out to customer service the best they could offer me was 20% off my next purchase.. they have that promo all the time- offering me that as a resolution is insulting. I expected them to send me a new one or give me at least a partial refund but they denied me either of those options even after prying. Waste of money...
Read moreWe need zero stars or even negative stars. First and last time I'm ever buying from them.
I purchased a bracelet for a friend in Canada. While tracking the delivery of the item, I realized that it was being sent back to B&Y. I contacted B&Y to inquire as to what was happening and I was told that the carrier indicated that no such address existed. Hmmm. How could that be since the B&Y site helped me fill in the address and I inserted it.
Fast forward weeks later and it was still being returned to B&Y. At that point, I asked for a refund but I was told I could only get 20% back since they hadn't received the item. Not sure how that was my problem since the item was being sent directly from B&Y to the address and back. It was now between the carrier and B&Y but no Buenos.
Magically the item arrived at my friend's maybe a month and a half later but was still being returned on the site. SMH. The item was tight and flimsy looking. Too much of a hassle to even return for a refund. Never again. Take your business elsewhere...
Read moreI was mildly pleased with the products I received in the mail. I order 3 bracelets and 2 rings. The bracelets are very small. I’m not a big person, and most bracelets fit me with a little spare to dangle, but these 2 were pretty tight. The rings were ok. I had one of the rings inscribed with my initials. Unless you flash the ring in a certain way under high lights, you can’t read the initials. I guess what I’m saying is, for the prices, you get what you get. The square inset comes with instructions for the jewelry, ie don’t get the jewelry wet or clean with any jewelry solution. Just a soft cloth. Fine. No problem. But if I’m wearing my jewelry and need to wash my hands, does that mean I have to take my jewelry off EVERY time? I wear my other Elizabeth James jewelry and wash my hands and I don’t have to take off my EJ bracelets. Just saying that the quality isn’t all that I expected. Maybe I expected more. So we’ll see how they help me with returning the jewelry for...
