Scammers and obvious fake reviews from friends/family - do not buy here. I approached Alicia, the owner, for a custom engagement ring march '24. By April 24th we had quoted and locked in a custom ring for $2,200. I planned an international proposal trip for July 19th I was assured it would be ready for. I checked in numerous times, as late as July 3rd to make sure everything was on track which Alicia confirmed every time. I arrived to pickup my ring on the 16th, 2 days before I leave for my international proposal trip. Only then did Alicia inform me my ring was not done and all she had was a basic placeholder she wanted $600 for. She told me she would let me trade in this placeholder ring and credit the 600 towards the custom ring when it is finished. Left with no options at this point due to no communication I begrudgingly agreed. I had to propose with the wrong ring or scrap a $10,000 trip. My fiance picked out the custom ring design so both of us were very let down on one of the biggest days of our lives. I have been waiting since July for Nyman to finish my custom ring with no communication. I reached out Oct 1 for an update and was asked to ask again in a few weeks. I reached out Nov 18 and 21 during working hours, both were ignored. I finally went in person today and was told they were never going to make my ring and to be happy with the basic catalog setting I am now stuck with that I never wanted. They now refuse to accept a trade in for the ring I only purchased with that guarantee. I don't think it could have been any worse of an experience with this jeweler. Incredible Job restoring my Late wife’s Engagement Ring. It is a solitaire Diamond Estate ring that needed a new crown as well as a new shank. I brought them the ring a month before she died and it took me just over a year before I could bring myself to go pickup the ring. I made sure to keep in touch so they knew what why situation was and were so caring and honored their promise that when I was ready emotionally to pickup the ring that it would be there waiting for me. My engagement ring band had cracked and needed to be fixed. I decided that I would add a couple of rubies to the setting. Alicia helped me choose the rubies (my kids birthstones) and did a wonderful job putting it into a whole new setting. She also gave me an updated appraisal. I get so many compliments on my ring. The cost of all was reasonable. Alicia and her staff are professional and courteous. I highly recommend her store and services. I'm not a regular customer as I'm not big on jewelry, but I go in annually to ask her to check the ring for any damage (worn everyday) she is more than happy to inspect it and clean it for me.
