Judy's Intimate Apparel — Local services in Olympia

I gotta say I absolutely would have givin this place 5 stars because they were the ONLY physical location that carry bras my size within a reasonable travel distance - I’m so upset that they no longer serve women with hard to find sizes - I can’t go to Walmart or lane Bryant or Victoria secret, no regular store , not even a plus size store . I have to travel an hour or more away and transportation is a huge hurdle for me or I can play the online guessing game and that’s so time consuming and frustrating because more often than not it won’t be right, so returns and refunds and more waiting - different brands fit different so even if i know my size it’s still so much trial and error !!! Don’t get me wrong l think it’s wonderful they are here for women who need them who are survivors& fighters and I’m not trying to negate that by any means, but I really need them too !! I just don’t understand why they would take away serving people like me, who have a very rare size need and have struggled to find bras that actually fit and depend on places like this and the knowledge the employees have in finding a bra that will work - they are few and far between and when you find one you will be a loyal customer because it’s a crucial essential part of life! I truly depended on this place because I knew they would have my size, and I would have options to try on and know how they fit. Well I use to get my bras only from Judy’s in Olympia. I had no issues with the cost for a proper fitting bra. It’s been a few years since I went in to up date anything. I tried to go in for a fitting, planning to spend what I had to for 3 bras. Well I was not even allowed into the store. I was in formed that the only provided service for those needing medical bras and prostheses. If they had been more transparent in their advertising I would have never darkened their door. I'm from NC, and I love exploring any sort of store. It seemed like Judy's had a very nice variety, however, before I had barely entered the store I was greeting, not with a hello, but with a "Are you my appointment". Wel, no ma'am, I just wanted to look around. She followed up with a "Well, we are by appointment only," and then because I'm a skinny gal said, "You look like you'd be able to find things at the mall.
