I have been dropping into CrossFit gyms for several years because of work travel. I have seen a lot of facilities and heard a lot of coaching techniques, when I drop into a gym CrossFit Omaha is the essence of CrossFit.
First, the coaches ACTUALLY teach the inexperienced. It’s amazing. They really spend the time with the people who are getting into CrossFit. If you are a local to Omaha, please, do not be intimidated, the coaches are the most welcoming to “newbies” both young and old I have ever watched. It was really great to see them working with nervous or intimidated members
Second, the facility is clean (borderline oddly clean) and all the CrossFit toys are there, it’s well maintained. No question on this.
As a drop in, I was able to take class and then do my own thing before or after. If you wanted to do open gym, it’s open pretty much all day. Again, all the toys are there.
I would not be surprised if we saw CrossFit Omaha during the Open’s Friday Night Lights, they exude CrossFit’s combination of community and fitness.
It’s a great gym, great coaches, seems to be a great community, very welcoming and accommodating. Great job...

The equipment is all maintained and clean (especially key in these tricky times on our new covid world), and there are more assault bikes and rowers than most any gym goer would ever care to see (as they are an amazingly brutal workout)
I've been a member at multiple other gyms and haven't felt as instantly welcomed anywhere else in the area. If you are swinging through town or trying to find a new home and gym family, Crossfit Omaha is absolutely my number ONE pick. You would find a more welcoming and humbling place to spend your time! If I could have given 6 out of 5 stars...
Read moreAbsolutely loved working out at Crossfit Omaha. I have dropped in at crossfit gyms all over the world and this was easily one of my favorite experiences. From emailing about dropping in, to having someone show me around, and just having everyone smile and be wonderfully welcoming, it was through and through a positive experience. Getting to meet not just Stacie Tovar (who is my favorite crossfit lady ever) but also three more of the top crossfit athletes, was just an added bonus. Even though Crossfit Omaha isn't the most conveniently located gyms for someone who is staying in Omaha, it's definitely worth the trip to the...
