In the last 2 months I have had 4 bad instances.
Now, I love Qdoba in general so I thought I'd give them another chance.
2.) Went again, they were out of soup...in the middle of the day and when they went to replace it with more soup, they had none. Instead there was diablo sauce. Received another free meal voucher.
4.) Didn't even want Qdoba this time, my husband did...and this just happens to be the one closest to our house. We went and it was the same girl who had originally served me when I complained the first time (that's right, the girl from instance 1.) She wasn't AS rude, but she was still a jerk. They were out of steak. When I asked if she would substitute steak for chicken in my tacos, she said no. The manager(?) who was there told her to just do it. When we were checking out, we got no apology for the rude behavior and got free drinks. That's it.
Do not visit this Qdoba. It will be worth your time, if you love Qdoba, to go to another location in another area. I don't know what the hell goes on behind the scenes at this Qdoba but it's pretty obvious the workers are miserable and hate that you ask them to...
Read moreI have never experienced worse customer service in my life. I ordered 95 boxed lunches for a staff luncheon at a big high school. I ordered them a week ahead of time and was assured there would be no issue. We had used this location for the exact same thing last year and it worked out perfectly. I spoke with the manager and another employee 3-4 during that week because I never received a confirmation email and they had some questions. I spoke to someone at 8:30 and 10:00 the morning of the luncheon and both times she assured me that it would be set up and ready to eat at 11:30. When 11:30 rolled around and there was no sign of them, I called and was informed that they got busy and were running behind. They were still packing the lunches at that point. No one bothered to call and tell me that they were running late so I had 95 hungry people waiting for their lunch. I offered to pick them up but was told they would be there soon. The food finally arrived at 12:20, 50 minutes after it was supposed to be set up. Besides the fact that it was so late, it was disappointing that no one notified us that there would be a delay. We use Qdoba frequently throughout the year for various events, but that will no...
Read moreThis place has hiring problems. I go here often, and hardly ever see the same people working. Usually you will go through the line and encounter someone who 'doesn't know how to roll the burritos' or 'I haven't been trained on the register' or 'sorry I can't touch the grill', among other things. You will sometimes get a dine-in order in a bag, sometimes in a bowl. You will almost always have to request a lid and straw with your cup, I don't know why, but you do. They seem to hire people like crazy, and have no time to show them what to do before they start doing it. It's very strange, but the food is just fine. I'm rating them on service quality since its a franchise and that means food quality should be the same between locations.
Update: guy checking me out today also didn't know how to work the register. He tried to alert someone else but they couldn't hear him from four feet away. Then he just walked away and I sat their and waited for someone to notice. Still having immense hiring and training issues here. Another dine in order in a to go bag. It's borderline comical...
