The massage was fair at best; price is $30 for 30 minutes, $60 for 60 minutes which is the average price of a massage. They accept cash or card. I would recommend using cash, there's a charge for using your card and they divide the massage from the tip and charge separately for each transaction...
It was mid morning when I went. First thing I saw I've never seen anywhere else; it was a wrinkled sheet of paper taped to the wall with a sign in LARGE bold print "NO SEXUAL SERVICE" with a warning paragraph of consequences that sets the tone; the masseuse's was a middle aged woman in frumpy clothes whose demeanor was unsmiling and rigid, as if they really didn't want to be there or they were mad about something. There was a space heater in the small room I was shown to that drowned out the music and made the air extremely dry. After reading the warning sign I did not want an unhappy woman to have reason to complain and focused more on ensuring I didn't violate the warning which made it difficult to relax. The massage was deep tissue, sometimes a little "too deep" and almost exact hour to the minute from when I walked in the door of the business the masseuse said "All done" and walked out the room; which was about our entire conversation beyond what type of massage I wanted ... I got dressed, was given a bottle of water, the lady pointed at the door and i left. no one said thank you or please come back again.
it was a fair massage ... perhaps i just caught them on a bad day or time. the question is... is it...

We got a couples massage and the two therapists were talking to each other in another language during the massage, which is very annoying when youâre just trying to relax. Massage was disappointing, my âmassage therapistâ mostly just leaned her body weight on me the whole time. Only massaged my neck for maybe 1-2 minutes of the entire hour long massage. Didnât massage my shoulders. When âmassagingâ my back , she just ran her thumbs in the same line over and over again next to my spine. Did not use oil until massage was halfway over when I finally requested it. Had us pay in advance, which is totally fine. But then would not let us leave without paying a gratuity. Stopped us from walking out the door and made us pay a 30% gratuity, which is absolutely ridiculous. Also were disappointed that we were âonlyâ paying that much. Absolutely ridiculous and not professional at all. Very...
Read moreTaiwanese Massage was a very good experience. Looking at the prior reviews, it is true the language barrier exists....but it is a massage and they do try to give you a translation, so going with an open mind and knowing it's going to be a great deep pressure massage (I got some hot stones too!). I'm also here to get good service, and tipping is appropriate prior to service from my perspective (I will be very relaxed after), but it was not forced in any manner. I really am not concerned with people talking in their native language...I would love to work at a place talking to my work bestie occasionally.
They also give you water when you are done. Will visit again. Thank you for a great couples massage.
FYI-Also made that appointment on the same day....so that is super helpful for me, who didn't want to...
