This place is a joke. There were 2 people waiting on us & neither of them managed to give us napkins until the entrees came, which was unfortunate since we started off with chips & salsa.
Next I ordered Chille Rellenos but I was told they don't sell them even though it's on the menu.
The salsa was a disaster because it was extremely watered down. We could barely get any actual bits of salsa on our chips because the water rinsed most of it away. I ended up using it on my pork sopes to give it some moisture since they came out kind of dry. And the outside edge of the sopes were about 3/8 inch thick and chewy. I cut the edges off & discarded them. Good thing the center was thin or I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to chew them.
I asked for more salsa for my last sope & luckily that salsa wasn't watered down. But we did a quick taste test and it was pretty lousy. Eating it straight reminded us of marinara, NOT salsa. Basically mashed tomatos with a few onion chunks and weird seasoning. That stuff belonged on noodles but I needed it to moisten my last sope.
The soft shell shrimp taco had tiny shrimp. All the ingredients equalled about the size of a silver dollar.
What else could they do to disappoint us? After finishing my meal(the person I was with finished a few minutes before me) we sat there a full 10 minutes waiting for our bill. It never came so I went to the counter to pay. They asked me how the meal was and I only complained about the very tough edges of the sopes. She said, "They're supposed to be crispy". I paused so she could say more but that's all she had to say.
I don't see how this place will last much longer. I decided to give this place more than 1 star because it was clean inside and the employees seem like nice people. I was really hoping for a good Mexican restaurant nearby....

I gave 5 stars to this restaurant the other day for excellent El Pastor & Chorizo tacos. I remember when I walked in to pick up my food, the total came out to $22. I remember thinking as the transaction completed, “wow, they didn’t even give me a chance to tip” (because I was going to). But the girl ringing me up never prompted me to tip, she simply told me “$22”, took the card, and swiped it.
I walked out thinking “I guess I’ll tip more next time” since I knew I would be back soon, as I’ve already come multiple times since moving into the area.
Fast forward to reviewing my CC statement today, and I notice that they took the liberty of adding a ~$8 tip to my order on my behalf. I think this is absurd, and completely out of line. Almost 35% for take out, without even asking.
Food is still good, just be aware you might have your tip spoken for. Probably not returning over this,...
Read moreFirst time here and I was not impressed. Got seated right away but we waited over 15 minutes without any acknowledgement from staff. A couple of white guys came in after us, get seated NEXT to us and are immediately given a menu and water. The same lady proceeds to walk around the restaurant to tend to other customers and avoids us completely. I finally call out to her as she’s making her SECOND round attending to other customers. She finally brings us menus and asks us for our drinks. At this point, we’re fed up with the service and feel completely invisible as we noticed that the only people getting any sort of service are non-Hispanic customers. There was another Hispanic couple waiting to be attended while she skipped around them too. I will never recommend anyone to come here and definitely anyone from my own Mexican community. If you’re looking for more authentic Mexican food, go to...
