Building Name: Phoenix I Property Number: P1 1124
Brett Robinson vacation rentals were professional and excellent to deal with throughout the whole condo rental process. Their process for renting, paying, and receiving access to the rental property was efficient and easy. So was the checkout process. We stayed in Phoenix I, property number 1124 from 10-14 Apr 2024.
PROS: The condo size (one bedroom/one bath) was perfect for my wife and I. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the balcony view was fantastic.
CONS: I appreciate the fact this condo is 29 years old. However, the condition of the paint on walls, baseboards, and doors is terrible, and very unappealing. The sheetrock in the shower area is starting to mold. The towel fixtures in the bathroom are old and in need of replacement. The tops of the nightstands in the bedroom are extremely damaged and the ceiling fan doesn't work. Couches are uncomfortable to sit in and the love seat cushions are dirty and stained. The other issue we experienced because of high winds, is a loud whistling noise caused by pressure in the condo being released between the balcony and entrance door jam and threshold where improperly sealed. Both doors need gasket material to allow for proper sealing.
Unfortunately, the pictures on the website do not represent the real condition of this property. My recommendation is to choose another condo and do your research (read reviews) before making...
Read moreWhere do I even start? The door to my room wouldn't lock unless you SLAMMED it shut which I'm sure others didn't appreciate. The pillowcase had spots all over it with what looked like mildew stains. I was traveling with 3 kids ages 7 and under. I paid almost 2,000 to stay here for a few days. During that time one elevator was broken the ENTIRE time (multiple people got stuck in it) so everyone was having to depend on ONE elevator. The couple that were next to us had to call 911 when they were stuck in the elevator because the front desk said it would take 2 hours to get a mechanic there. If you were lucky you could get on it within an hour. We were on the 14th floor and I had to take the stairs with 3 kids in tow and their grandparents. Absolutely ridiculous that for almost 2,000 dollars you have to take the stairs from the 14th floor. You couldn't wait on the elevator, especially if you had a cruise ect. planned. It really affected plans and how much we got out or even made it to the pool/beach. Oh and I didn't appreciate the note that was slapped on my door about bringing carts back when I brought both of my carts back down. Never could get the remotes to work for the tv's and 2 tv's were even unplugged. One of the toilets ran the whole time and wouldnt flush right. The only good thing about the stay, was the absolutely beautiful view of the beach on...
Read moreMold all in the room, in the master bedroom, the master bathroom, the laundry area, ceiling chipping off in the shower, molding falling off the edges of the walls, bed sheets were disgusting, had to ask three times for new ones so I could change them and actually sleep, the light in bathroom didn’t work, maintenance came said they could not fix it, took it COMPLETELY down and left, couldn’t use that bathroom for showering the whole first day and a half because it was so dark in there. No privacy in one guest room, the doors won’t shut because the beds are up against them, the kitchen has very outdated appliances, and limited items. Unit was filthy upon check in, even went to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies and bleach just to be able to clean the room myself so we could actually stay there, traveling with 3 children and it was absolutely filthy!! The beach is beautiful but find another place to stay, there are several other condos on the beach with way nicer amenities and clean rooms. There is no since in someone paying the amount I paid for the filth I...
