I went there today to exchange a box of seltzer soda which I walked into the store with my own shopping cart I got from the front of the store to carry it in. Spoke to a young lady who was in the process of taking her cash tin to her office along with another store associate and asked if I could leave my cart by the managers office and she said ok. So i wouldn't walk thru the store with the item i was exchanging I went to get my exchange and to get my cart with the box that needed to be exchanged and proceeded to the register to exchange and buy 2 other items. when the store associate who was with her approached me to pull and take my cart with the item I had in it and said to me that" I took his cart from him". I proceeded to let him know I walked in with it and he was there with the other clerk he continued to tell me I took his cart then pushed it and said you can take it! As I checked out the cashier said to me "I'm so sorry but he seems to be having a really bad day would you please give him back his cart" I said to him are you joking I walked in the store with that cart and I did not like how he approached me. I asked to speak with a Manager when the cashier said that he was the manager. He then said to me I'll give you back your quater so you can give his cart back. He had me take and carry my seltzer and 2 bottles of wine out the cart & I told him I was not happy how he handled this situation. If the associate was having a bad day it was not my fault or anybody and he should have not treated me the way he did. I struggled to carry my items out the store and as I was walking already pass the entrance the manager ran outside after me to ask if I wanted a bag! Not at all what I expected as for customer service. If this is how you treat a paying customer I will not be going back. Give better training to your managers on how to deal with employees who are having a bad day & how to treat paying customers that if it's not for us those employees will not have jobs. Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all I want to say I love Aldi. Been going there since the 70ās when I was stationed in Germany. Iāve been to many Aldi stores in Florida and there is 2 in particular that are lacking. The Orange City and Deland Florida stores. The reason they are lacking is they allow soliciting outside their main door. If you are walking in or walking out of the store, someone is always in your way begging you for money. This doesnāt happen at stand alone stores such as the one in Sanford, Fl. This should not be allowed. Perhaps the managers cannot control their stores because they are in a strip mall. Or maybe they are getting a fee from the solicitor or maybe they are weak managers. Whatever the case, customers should not be harassed while going to and from a business. Publix and CVS do not allow this. Sometimes at Christmas time Publix will allow this for charity. Still, ringing a bell is also a form of harassment, even for the Salvation Army. I donate my share to charities and my church without being harassed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLevel of service at this store is terrible. Products are great but the experience with some employees is not good. I recently decided to order through Instacart and requested a delivery. I ordered in the morning for delivery in the afternoon and I got a message that it was rescheduled for next day. I understood and let it be. Next morning I receive another message that it was rescheduled again for the next day. Mind you the next day we have Hurricane Milton coming. I called Instacart and they explained that on both occasions it was the ALDI store that denied the order. In my experience they have chosen not to fulfill it because it is a large order of 55 items, most where just most.I call and made a complaint to ALDIs and there explanation is that they have limited staff. They need to do a better job because do you think Iām shopping there again. I rather pay the extra 10 cents on an item and get better service. I donāt have...
