Mattress Firm Orange City — Hotel in Orange City

Horrible customer service. Called about a mattress that was purchased 17th of July that was supposed to be delivered originally the 28th of July then was pushed back to today the 9th of August. I was understanding with the pushback because my sales associate gave me warning that this might happen due to the purchase and was given the option to exchange but denied. Today I called to see if and when I would approximately recieve the mattress. First call was not answered. The second time I called I was told that he (later figured out his name is Gary) was with 2 customers. Then after running errands hours later I called again and the phone was answered with no formality of name or location and was completely rude. Unknowing if I reached the correct number I asked is this mattress firm in orange city and was giving a reply of yes. He said I am with 2 customers right now. I said this was said hours ago. He persisted to tell me how he couldn't help me. To me the amount of time that was spent explaining how he could not help me he could have answered my question. After being completely disrespected. I called Sanford location and was able to get my answer in under 2 minutes while the sales associate was handling customers. I was also able to get help from the Deland location about the issue I had with Gary and on top of it all I was reached out by my original sales associate Jose (who I have no complaints of) to get the help I needed as well. I am a frequent customer and I usually always recommend this place to friends and family but after that I am not sure I would want to take the chance of someone like Gary to handle any sales with my family or friends especially with large purchases made...

We bought a mattress from mattress firm paid 1799.00 after 3 years it has a huge dip 3.5 inches deep. The mattress failed so we went to the local location to buy a new one the store in Orange City was very helpful letting us know we have a 10 year warranty our mattress a Serta is only 3 years old so he showed us how to file the claim. He also showed us around and we picked a new mattress 3800.00 so when we received the warranty we would buy an upgrade. The store was great help. So we get an email from the corporate warranty saying the claim is denied because It was not sanitary really not sanitary! We had a stain where our 40 pound dog sleeps no where near the damage of a sinking hole 3.5 inches deep the Mattress separates inside but because we have a pet stain the warranty is declined. Nothing to do with the defective mattress with a hole. So they Send us a coupon for 20% off a new mattress wow so this must be a common way not to honor the 10 year warranty. We were going to spend 4000 dollars on a new mattress but now we are taking there coupon going to another mattress store they will honor the coupon as they feel bad the warranty has not been honored. Also offering free upgrades, pillows, mattress cover. Do not trust mattress firm warranty is no good they sell junk. I recommend the People in the local store but the company has deceitful practices and do not stand behind the Product they sell or The warranty...

If I could leave this place zero stars I would. Today I went shopping for a mattress with cash in hand. I have done some research online and knew somewhat of what I was looking for and the general price range I was looking to spend. This was the first mattress store I stopped at. The gentleman who helped me - if I could call him that - was very pushy and rude from the beginning. Probing questions that should have been insightful to what I was looking for were instead very demanding and pushy. Still with a poor attitude from the salesman, I came to a mattress I really liked and he gave me an offer that was very generous for the mattress I was interested in. I stepped outside to think it over for a moment and went back in to see if he may be willing to honor this deal in a few hours as this was the first place I looked and I wanted to be confident in my purchase. He very rudely explained the guarantees associated with this company, the fact that this deal was unbeatable and heavily pushed the finance options again (when he knew I did not want to finance). Needless to say I left this store and will not be back because of this salesman. I honestly wish I would have gotten his name as I am completely put off from mattress shopping...
