Tri-County Appliance — Local services in Oregon

We made an appointment with them to get our fridge looked at. We have a samsung hub..thats under warranty. Samsung gave us permission to get our own tech to obtain a diagnoises(even if not Samsung certified). We made them aware of this all before appointment. We waited week and a half for them to come out. The Tech walked in and looked at our unit for 2 minutes, then looked at the back and said he wouldnt touch it because it had the Hub on it...(it has a sealed system issue and not cooling the hub has no effect on this) ..and walk out the house and left.

Update: "the list" that I gave was a list of questions we we needed answered on the DIAG paper work #1 What part failed on unit #2 cause of failure #3 Resolution (is it fixable or not) #4 Estimate Cost if fixable. 5#model & Serial number. You WERE made aware of the reason for the appointment. These were all things that I was stating we would need on the diagnosis they're simple questions that any appliance technician can answer I know this because I work for a warranty company. I applogize for my spouse raising his voice when he spoke to you but we had exsplained the situation fully when we schedualed the appointment. My Wife and I traveled through Oregon WI many times while going to UW Madison for Her cancer treatments, we spotted the Tri County Appliance store and stopped to look inside one day. We were greeted by a very friendly and informative employee who shared a lot of information about the appliances they carried even though we said we were just window shopping. Time had come for a new washing machine and we had decided to upgrade to a Speed Queen, we called several stores for pricing and they were all very close cost wise. So..... we decided on Tri County to support a small town business that took the time to talk appliances with us knowing we were not going to purchase anything. I called Tri County, explained what I wanted and they had it in stock, I gave them all my information and told them I would be there to pick it up at noon. Now, when I arrived my paperwork was waiting, I made payment, drove around back and the machine was loaded into my SUV and I was on my way home. I don't think I spent more then 4 minutes at the store! Now for me that is great service, I felt I was buying from a family member. I don't know about you but at my age I don't need to face the traffic and parking situations of Madison or Rockford IL. living near Juda WI I had a nice, I'll say back road, drive with no heavy traffic to the nice town of Oregon, I was able to park right in front of the store, drive around the back to get loaded and I was on my way home. This is why you go with a local, family owned business instead of the bigger stores...two days before our daughter's graduation party, our stove caught on fire. The heating element had burned out. I called Connie at Tri County at 8:00am and by 11:00am their technician was at my door with a new heating element in hand. Thirty minutes later my oven was back in business again. Not to mention that while on the phone with Connie, she did not try to sell me anything! I have called Sears for repair and you talk to someone far away who then tries to sell you warranties, etc. when all you really want is your appliance repaired. You spend far too long on the phone just to get a technician to come. Then you wait days for the technician to arrive.
