Cooperative — Local services in Orem

Update: Jan 2024 I've since been back to Cooperative... many times since I originally posted in 2021 after picking up Parra SBs. The only thing better than Cooperative would be two Cooperatives, and this is why: Hands down the best selection in the mountain west, let alone Utah. Everyone at Cooperative is down to earth--the opposite of virtually every sneaker shop. They are always a pleasure to work with, whether I'm buying or I'm selling. Every item is 100% legit--something I frankly can't say for the vast, vast majority of stores around here. You have a premium AND unpretentious shopping experience.

I've been to every major sneaker store in the US, and Cooperative is truly among the most elite when it comes to selection and offering. Cooperative is far and away the best when it comes to having a premium, no-nonsense, zero-pressure, zero-judgment buying/selling experience. You simply cannot say the same about the other big names out east or in LA. Not only that, if people are belly-aching about prices, go to the major markets and see just how they get.

Prices are fair, and I always know everything I get is heavily vetted, not faked (StockX, Goat and eBay have burned me and my friends too many times), and I have a great experience every single time.

Christian, Garrett, Juan, Hunter (RIP bro we miss those brows) are all homies who are in the game for the RIGHT reasons.

If you ever have doubts or hearing something other than a glowing review about Coop, just think again. If it's good enough for my mama, it's definitely good enough for you!

Original review is below. Their response is full of lies and it’s apparent their interest is only to try and defact their customers. They’re correct I mentioned the wrong size, however it’s a $5 difference in the correct size and size I posted here. Still wouldn’t go back now considering how they tried to cover up the lethargic and rude employee that “helped”. Doesn’t change the fact that they’re ripping people off with every purchase.

If you’re interested in a place that has realistic prices and actually helps check out clean kix in Bountiful. Sucks when a business can’t get out of their own way to see their problems are bigger than one review.

Been a customer of theirs for about a year now, finally had it with their prices… don’t tell me a shoes that cost this much on the market, can justify a $500 price tag from what the unhelpful and unfriendly employee quoted.

If you’re gonna charge that much at least throw in a free t shirt with your brand on it or something. This is why people are hating resellers...

My family LOVES Cooperative so much! We live up in the Salt Lake Valley and try to get down as often as we can. Christian has built a beautiful store with an amazing amount of shoes, with sizing, to choose from. He almost always has what you are looking for, and if he doesn’t he goes on the hunt. There is nothing better than opening the door and the guys faces light up when you walk in. We also love guessing what shoes Hunter is going to be wearing when we get there and always being amazed when it’s something new we haven’t seen. We also never buy anything without getting Hunters opinion and he ALWAYS shoots us straight! Wish I could give them 10 stars!!

I know a couple people have mentioned pricing, but I would 100% rather spend the extra $40 or $50 to avoid the wait of online verification and mailing, and to support small. There’s no price tag for amazing...
