What a great experience its been working with Desmond at Performance Destination. Let me explain from my personal experience! I have a 06’ Evo that I’ve been putting together for a couple of years now. Went through a rough experience from a previous reputable tuner that had allegedly tuned my car safely to fully & correctly break in my car after a fresh new motor/drivetrain was installed. To keep it short & straight to the point, it had a very poor tune and it was straight Boo boo. From drivability to not even being able to hit boost to stalling to not being able to start when hot… the whole 9 yards. I then began to search for the best! I truly believe I’m working with the best in the Evo game & blessed to say the least to stumble upon Desmond over at Performance Destination. From communication to professionalism to service to getting his hands dirty & doing what he does best Tuning; he from my own experience is the best at what he does. I caught him on a week busy & he was able to schedule me in and work with me to get my car dialed before some scheduled trips. My pops and I drove from from TN, a 10hr drive one way & wouldn’t hesitate to do it all over again to get Desmond’s blessing on the Evo. Desmond takes his time and does it right. There’s no cutting corners nor sugar coating anything. He’ll tell you what’s going on & will advise you in the correct path to fully achieve what your goal is. He took his time with my car 1:1, made sure everything was 100. My car now starts, drives like a stock car (with it being FULLY built) & hits boost like Muhammad Ali’s right hook. Power band is super smooth I can’t stress enough how happy I’m with the results. My car put out a whomping 804/548 on E85 & 549/406 on pump. Once he worked his magic, we went out for a test drive. On the very first hit we had coupler on a piping blow off lol car was movingggg son! We came back to the shop, addressed the coupler issue & went for a few hits afterwards. Very few people in this car industry especially in the performance world, that really enjoy doing what they do, & give it their best at the same time to provide a great experience overall. Since my car came from overseas tuned on higher octane fuel, I needed a tune to run pump 93. On a recommendation from a friend, I took it to Desmond and let me tell you, he did not disappoint!! Desmond is super knowledgeable with what he does and after a little discussion about what mods I had, and what my power goals were, he got straight to work. After a quick boost leak test to make sure there were no air leaks within the system, he plugged his laptop in and started working his magic! After a little bit of fine tuning on the ground, he got the car on the dyno and started getting busy! He did his due diligence, refining the tune, working out little kinks, and making sure the service he offers is as good as possible… and let me tell you, when we took it for a little test drive down the street, the level of his tuning skills truly showed because my car has never driven more smoothly! From driving around Orlando, to the 3 and a half hour drive home afterwards, there was not a single hiccup with the tune. Even after I got home, Desmond messaged me asking how the car performed and if anything needs tweaking. Without a doubt, my car will only be tuned by Desmond from here on out. Brought my car in to Performance destination, it was a complete build with bigger turbos, forged internals a bunch of add-ons, and a bunch of deletes tgv, secondary air pump Etc.. it was previously tuned on cob and I hated it i chose not to drive it because it was awful it wouldn't stay running the idle was erratic and driving it just made me stressed..

I brought it to Desmond at performance destination after a ton of research and I'm glad I did to be honest the car had a lot of problems and I felt really bad but Desmond was super patient and extremely helpful he helped me correct a couple of things that were wrong he ran a few wires to make sure it looked correct, and he talked me through everything so that i can understand alittle more. he installed a haltech ECU and the jumper i had (not haltech) did complicate things he had to configure each output with haltech but they knocked it out the park, he did a tune on it and it drives better then it ever has. The drivability is amazing. Throughout the whole build process of owning this car it's never driven so well. Thank you Desmond.
