I order pictures from this store at least once a week todays experience was the worst the staff did not want to be there only one Spanish lady acknowledged me… everyone else behaved like they was the owners bad children. I got a notification that the picture was ready so drove to the store picked up some items when I got to the photo area the lady there pulled up my order and then called for help she then left me standing there no type of communication the Spanish lady came and tried to resolve whatever issue they were having, when she couldn’t fix the issue she called for a manager whom was the lady that originally left me standing there this lady instead of coming over to assist, CALLS FROM THE FRONT REGISTER!!! Which was close enough for me. Hear there conversation. When the Spanish lady hung up the manager had informed her they didn’t have ink. If she knew that why not tell me instead of making someone from the back waste both our times I wasn’t even mad because the Spanish lady was kind and polite I just said okay… I proceeded to the register to pay for my other item where the manager was helping someone and a young man at another register I asked 3 times each time louder than the last “are you open” and he just stared at me as the manager also ignored me. I will never deal with this location again they chose this job so if I’m not being rude I’d expect to be treated...
Read more. I came In for a return and the employees were LAZY, LIARS and UNEDUCATED. They lied and said they did not sell the product I was returning, when I was Just in the back of the store looking at a full row of the product. Then, they lied again saying that the item I purchased was pass 30 days . I showed the digital receipt with the date and transaction number because the barcode was not showing. Which was purchased a week ago. Then they said I have to to return it to the Walgreens I purchased it from. THE RETURN POLICY IS ON THE RECEIPT stating i can return at any nationwide Walgreens store AND I READ IT OUT-LOUD AND SHOWED THEM THE POLICY !! I even Pulled out my credit card to pull up the transaction. They didn’t want to look up the transaction ID number , they didn’t want to look up the barcode number. The female cashier needs to get fired for lying since she had so much to say and for her rudeness.
And get this : They were scanning the wrong barcode the whole time !!! They did not attempt to do their jobs . They all need to have mandatory training on register and customer service before EVER stepping back on the floor and customer servicing guest. For context — I wasn’t even the one making a purchase. My boyfriend was the paying customer and had already shown his ID. Still, a tall white man with a beard and piercings working the register looked at me and, in a nasty, condescending tone, said, “You better go get your ID.” The way he said it was unnecessarily aggressive and demeaning.
After I gave him my ID, he just stared at it — like he was trying to intimidate me — creating an incredibly uncomfortable and hostile moment. My boyfriend and I are an interracial couple, and the way we were treated felt like targeted harassment. It didn’t feel like he was enforcing store policy — it felt like he was trying to belittle and control me.
This employee’s behavior was completely unprofessional and made me feel humiliated. No customer should feel belittled or threatened by a man behind a register. I’m disgusted and disappointed — not just in this employee’s behavior, but in whatever training allowed him to think this was acceptable.
Walgreens needs to take this seriously and make sure this kind of treatment never...
