Caveat: I did NOT purchase anything from Tropicasual Furniture in Ormond Beach, FL.

We are in the market for outdoor furniture. We live on the beachside and are looking for some chairs that will last years and years. Having entered the store after sitting on some samples outside I thought we’d be hammered by the typical high-pressured salespeople. Surprisingly the approach remained very casual and pleasant.

It wasn’t until we desired to ask questions that Garrett began to explain the various lines they sold. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and at the same time was NOT pushy.

Although we walked out having not made a purchase, I feel confident that if we want to buy the style of outdoor furniture they supply, we’ll be going in and talking prices with them for sure.

The “Good” rating has NOTHING to do with their service. It has EVERYTHING to do with their prices. They are very, VERY expensive.

Love the Berlin Gardens Adirondack chairs I purchased in June of 2020. Contacted the owner of store Bob Hughes originally on July 16, 2021 about a (minor) piece that broke on one of the chairs which is under a warranty. Just want the replacement piece not a new chair. I am on my 7th email and 3 months into this with him. I keep getting the run around (e.g., "It's in the Melbourne store I'll bring it to Ormond"). I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYWAY BASED ON THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE ONCE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!! I even said I was about to write a in my 7th email to him dated 9/29/21 and he still hasn't gotten...

I love this store. I came back a second time to buy a piece I have been looking at for some time only to find the same man at the front desk. Owner? Maybe, but if so you would never know and if he isn’t and works on commission then he won’t sell much! He had no personality.. actually kind of blah. You have to search him out to ask a question and then he acts like your bothering him. I left there and bought a beautiful bedroom set somewhere else where they were much happier to get...
