We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Ormond Brewing Company. The staff we worked with at the wedding were amazing, and we love the beer, so I would give them 5 stars. The bartenders did everything they could to make the day special and accommodate our guests in any way they could. The only negative I have to say, is that up until 3 weeks before the wedding the plan (and my vision from the very beginning) was to hold the reception on the outside patio area. At that point (3 weeks before the wedding!!!) we were told that we could no longer use the outside space for the reception and that there would be a band playing outside. Because I had a wedding coordinator, she was able to switch everything around and make accommodations to have both the ceremony and reception inside and just have the cocktail hour on the patio, but this involved changing flower and decoration orders, changing the timeline and flow of the wedding and changing the overall feel and vibe of the wedding. The wedding turned out absolutely perfect, and again, the staff we worked with particularly on that day was amazing, but I would advise anyone planning events there to use caution in relying on verbal agreements with the event coordination person (he refused to sign...
Read moreGreat beers, good food……worst service, and I think it was from one of the owners. Asked if they did flights and he said yes, as he rolled his eyes. When he brought the flight I handed him my debit card and he looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. He finally asked if I wanted to start a tab to which I said yes. They keep your card…….why would I hand you my card if I didn’t want to cash out or start a tab. After flight and two pints we were going to order food. Everyone at the bar was helped before anyone came to take our food order. Finally got our food ordered, and ready to pay the tab. Was standing at the bar and one other person waiting on their beer. Was then the only one standing at the bar and someone brings their empty glasses and he literally walks right past me and asks the lady what she needed. I finally said, “I guess I’m nonexistent”and the lady apologized stating she jumped in front of me. I told her she did not jump in front of me, that he just ignored the fact that I was standing there. The young lady working at the bar assisted me in checking out and was apologizing profusely. I told her she was not the one that should be apologizing. Still nothing from the guy. WOW. Not a great...
Read moreGreat cozy brewery tucked in warehouse that has a phenomenal selection of beers. Loved the Key Lime Sour with its explosive blast of flavor. One of the best sours I've had over the years. Nice patio area that's even got a firepit. Inside is guarded by a cat and has a few tables. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking is easy. Entrance a little hard to find, but just keep walking around the back.
Love this place with Morris the cat and the craft kitchen. Finally tried it and got the Italian Grinder toasted and it was fantisimo. Potato salad is also good.
Back again and the sours here are perfect. Also grabbed and destroyed a double smashburger with bacon jam. So good.
Back again for Tom's Birthday. Tried the Cuban sandwich. Was really good. The bread needed more toasting and coulda used a couple more pickles. Had a sour which they do very well.
Back again for a fund raiser. Tried a Cranberry White Chocolate Sour and it was extremely good. Mostly cranberry, but loaded with flavor. Got a Big Porky sandwich which came on toast, and Cheese...
