Anytime Fitness — Local services in Oro Valley

This has been my gym since moving to Tucson. Been here for three years. I'm quite satisfied. It's even better after the renovations. Plenty of space. Plenty of equipment. The equipment is high quality. The gym is always clean. Three bathrooms with showers!

It's usually never too crowded in here, which is a plus. Even if it is, there's alternative equipment for the same muscle group. Cardio equipment is never in short supply. You can also come back at a different time. Anytime lives up to its name: you can enter the gym at any time. You can even be a weirdo like me and do deadlifts at 1am if you want. I also really like the fact that you can use your membership at other Anytime locations. This came in quite handy when I traveled to other cities and needed a gym.

There are plenty of other services from personal trainers to fitness classes if you're interested in that stuff. More value added.

The staff is great. Friendly and helpful. The owners, Chris and Ed, are good guys.

Prices are very competitive. You really won't find better for the same quality. It's one of the best commercial gyms to be sure. Made some...

UPDATE : I got in the door! B-) very clean throughout, good selection of working /up-to-date equipment, really really pretty shower area, great location, truck accessible via everywhere nearby.

It would've been nice had they provided cleaning supplies for members to use in the bathroom, though the bathrooms were spotless; in the event they were not, it would be nice to have just a general disinfectant spray on hand.

this is one of the very, very few AF locations that still have gender specified restrooms; such an ancient and ridiculous concept that you should wait less/more time depending on what appendage you have - just to use the restroom in the exact same way.

original review: looks like a great gym! from the outside looking in! ha, they seem to be experiencing some door issues, I wasn't able to get in at 935pm, neither was another member who tried various door opening techniques alongside me. I'll try back in the morning and leave a real review....

I absolutely love AF Oro Valley South!!! I was previously put of by a toxic gym environment, but when I walked in the doors for the first time with my husband, I received nothing but support, and kindness. There are many topics I could review here publicly. The size of the gym. The staff and trainers. The available equipment. One thing I would like to draw attention to is the positive atmosphere. I see men and women of all different ages and with many fitness goals, from mobility, stability, weight loss, muscle growth, and body builders, come together and support one another. The personal progress that I have made over the last year is because I was never shamed, looked down upon, or bullied. I am proud to call AF Oro Valley South my home gym. I look forward to crushing more personal goals, and experiencing a positive gym atmosphere that I have seen time and time again.
