I used to love this Goodwill, and would spend around $200 a week on stuff for myself and my business. They were a bit higher-priced than the other thrift stores in the area, but I didn't mind too much. I went on a trip for a few months, and when I came back, everything was changed, and everything was priced much higher. I did see a few things I wanted personally, but they were priced so high, I couldn't even justify buying it for personal use. I received some information that the pricers are now looking up items on eBay, and setting their prices according to what it is listed for on there. If I wanted to pay eBay prices, I would just go to eBay... better selection, buyer protection, great return policies, fast-and-free shipping, can shop from home, etc. Why would I go to a thrift store to pay upper re-sale prices? I'll just go to eBay or an actual re-sale shop, not a thrift store that gets their stuff for free and is just getting greedy. On the positive side, I really like some of the employees in the store, and I love the location, which is why i'm giving 3 stars instead of 1 or 2. However, I personally won't be buying or donating anymore stuff to this store until they moderate their prices a bit more. I want to give this place a chance, but there are plenty of other thrifting options in Tucson that don't over-price their...
Read moreShoppers beware of shady practice at this Goodwill!!! I was excited to go in here since I haven’t been in since they moved. My son had picked up a nerf gun with a $3.99 sticker on it and I told him to hang on to it to ask his dad if he could get it. My son then proceeded to walk up to a worker to ask her about the price. He was very polite and I was impressed with him and listened in on the conversation. She told him “I need to check in the back” and returned with the nerf gun with a $4.99 sticker on it!!!! I continued through the store, irritated, but proud of my son’s manners so decided to let it slide and get him the nerf gun. When I got home I noticed I was charged an additional $1 on my receipt by a different employee at this location!!! Bad practice and I’m sure this isn’t a rare occurrence. I will not return to...
Read moreThe cashier was efficient and polite, However, the employee accepting donations was very rude. There were several cars in a line waiting to donate and I got behind the last car in line. This employee yelled at me that it was a one lane drive through and "Didn't you see the arrow?" There was an arrow on the pavement but it was faded and the store should likely put a sign at the driver's eye level saying "stay to the right" or something. This man continued to yell at and insult me. I asked his name and he said "I have no name". A young female employee with long hair came out and took him away. He then said his name was Mark, which was the name of the manager. I called the manager to report this and he said he would review tapes that are made. I live right by this store but will NOT donate...
