I generally love going to this store to find items in the clearance sections. (Except boys, even in clearance they are still over priced) I can usually find some great deals on items for myself and for gifts. I love that they offer Kohl's cash and the discounts they send out. I've only had 1 time where the cashier was just totally unfriendly. The rest of the cashiers are really nice and helpful. The only problem is that they have to hit you up on opening a charge card a million times. Oh my gosh, I don't know what they're quota is but it is ridiculous. I understand that these companies make a ton of money off these cards, but entice people with signage or better offers. Having your cashier ask you multiple times during a transaction while you're dealing with a toddler and making sure items are ringing up correctly makes the customer insane. I can also tell it makes these cashiers uneasy. It shouldn't be totally put on them. They have enough to deal with while checking people out. And honestly if a person doesn't already have the Kohl's charge card, they probably are the smart debt free ones and aren't going to get one now. It's time to adopt a new...

Terrible experience, cashier and staff is very unhelpful and condescending. I came in trying to color match a shirt to some socks for my significant other, the cashier lady off of the north entrance was very reluctant to help point me to the directions of the socks, she repeated "i don't have anyone to help you" then called out on her radio "sending man to the bra section needs help with socks" after she explained where the socks were at, as if I'm just supposed to magically know the store, never coming here before.
Then when surprisingly a staff member came she just showed me the section and told me she couldn't help me further and went back to do nothing. Nice.
Let's remember what's on kohl's official overview "Company has established four overarching priorities to drive improved sales and profitability. These priorities include ENHANCING the CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE, accelerating and simplifying its value strategies, managing inventory and expenses with discipline"
Exactly why I don't shop here, guess I won't ever...
Read moreHey, This is a great store to buy things from. I was just walking around in the store looking at stuff while my Wife bought something that she wanted and came there for. I noticed a ladies Bulova watch that I liked and pointed it out to her. She passed on the watch, and made a bee line for the rings. She selected a white gold/white diamond Vera Wang ring. After incentives/sales/deals we paid under $1k for a $3k+ ring. The sales person was one of the managers and beyond excellent. Even though I had my pockets picked by my Wife, it was an outstanding sales experience. A few days later, my wife brought the ring over to Kay Jewelers to have it sized. They liked the ring and told her the diamonds are good quality and rating. They asked her how much did she pay for it? My wife told them $900+, and showed them the paid receipt. The Kay Jewelers people freaked out! They told us the price that we paid in Kohl's was beyond good for that ring. I thought the whole thing was funny. I showed my wife a watch and she ended up with a diamond ring, which I felt good about buying....
