The Happy Saguaro — Local services in Oro Valley

The Happy Saguaro is a very interesting place--its huge inventory is beautifully presented and the staff is helpful but not pushy which allows for a pleasant shopping experience IMO. The store has broad selection of seasonal and year-round wares that are colorful and interesting.

All the above said, I have two issues with the place. First, the seasonal products like Talavera and pottery are priced higher than other merchants by 20% and I think that may be due to their location and the amount of inventory--my best advice is to wait for a sale. Second is the lack of a public restroom which I find ridiculous--they advertise on social media so their audience is broad, after a two-hour trip being told you can use a restroom at Trader Joe's is ridiculously inconvenient.

Would I recommend The Happy Saguaro? Yes and no, if you're in the area or enroute to other destinations, it's worth a stop. If you're looking for something in particular you have to have, call and it can be worth the drive but realize you may be...

Absolutely beautiful, woke up to see a beautiful blooming flowers from The Happy Saguaro, I'm buying all my pots and plants from this place from now on. The selection is incredible, and the prices are reasonable. Everyone who comes over compliments the pots and plants in my property, If you're in the market for pots, plants, patio, decorations, furniture or jewelry, make The Happy Saguaro your first stop. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and I can always find the perfect pot from the nearly limitless selection of sizes, colors, and styles.

Beautiful decor pieces with a very Tucson bent. You can get your giant $2500 metal hand-welded horse or ceramic or clay planters and birdbaths of any size and color scheme. They have stunning holiday decor (metal trees that light up from inside? Heck yeah) and solid wooden furniture inlaid with turquoise - even their kitchenware is beautiful. The only reason I'm not tossing them five stars is price. If you have to ask, really, just don't.
