This is a hidden gem, and they are super strong on their food offerings and customer service however it's probably the worst sign ever created. I don't mean that in a critical manner but it is very hard to figure out that that is the story you're looking for if you are on Google and tracking it down for the first time. That being said, the people inside are very friendly and there are a lot of customers and they have a lot of offerings from frozen lasagna to smoothies to pies to ice cream to whatever. It's farm to table and I definitely think this is a find. Also, around the corner is the Eldridge ice cream spot and that is a great combo. You can get takeout food already prepared and they have quite an extensive array of offerings. They put all of the things that haven't sold right on the first day into the freezer or the fridge and you can pick up entrees of a wide variety including lasagna and other favorites. I would say it's got a blend of health conscious foods as well as delicious foods. I thought the customer service was really quite friendly and it's a very organized place that probably does a lot of good serving reasonable meals for people that are mostly or all delicious. I really recommend this place especially if you need a place to eat or pick up food or what have you. It's a real central market and it...
Read moreWe made our last stop at our favorite local sandwich shop last week during the final stages of moving. We really loved this little store that always sourced their vegetables and eggs from local farms in the area. There is a sandwich counter in the back which is where we spent most of our time. We recommend the brisket sandwich and also the meatball sub. When we first moved to the area we were at a bit of a loss trying to find good food. We had tried a couple of the local restaurants in West Ossipee, but hadn't really found something that made us want to return over and over. A couple years after living in Tamworth, I decided to stop at the little "catering" place I frequently passed to see what exactly they catered. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of local items, frozen meals, snacks, soups, cookies and sandwiches they had in there. It quickly became our favorite spot to stop at. Their cornbread and maple butter is to ☠️ for!! Overall, great place. The wait at the sandwich counter can sometimes be lengthy but...
Read moreI’ve been here for over a year. I’ve noticed a few reviews talking about short staffing and prices. The reviewers gave 3 stars for excellent high quality food from a local vendor. Short staffing should be expected not only here, but everywhere in NH, plus the prices will be higher and will continue to rise to keep businesses open and serving. Neither of these two things can be rectified by the business. If you eat out, you will eat out at a premium. If you want cheap, go to McDonald’s, however their prices are far more out of touch respectively. Artificial food or high quality unadulterated food full of nutrition made by people who care is your choice. I prefer to keep locals in business and I don’t mind waiting for it. Now I’m calling them for a full smoked turkey meal for Thanksgiving....
