I am currently sitting and waiting for the next available sales representative. I have been here 5 times in the last few months and each time my wait is at least 1.5 hours. Going to this particular USCellular is becoming an ALL DAY affair. As I sit here, I am listening to the 3 (out of a maximum capacity of 9) sales representatives chit chatting and making small talk with the customers they are helping. If there is that much down time while they are being helped, USCellular needs to invest in new computer systems that are faster. On the rare occasion that they fix the issues that lead to me coming in, it is full of small talk and time wasting as their "System" slows down the process. I am beginning to think they are passing the blame for slow moving employees. It should not take 2.5 hours total to get a new phone on a Monday at 1 PM. You begin the process by checking in with two receptionists whose only job is to write down your name on a waiting list. Does that take 2 people? Could one of them be trained to help customers? It would be impossible to come here and get anything done over your lunch hour. If you have the opportunity to go to any other USCellular store - please do! Save yourselves before you waste an entire afternoon sitting in a crowd of other frustrated people waiting for your name to be called.
*Update - We are now working with a sales associate to fix our issue. At first, she wanted to send us out the door with a to-do list of how to fix the issue ourself. We persuaded her to help us now because we have waited in line for 1.5 hours. She has been very rude to us. We are not pleased. Going on 3 hours. The employees here keep mysteriously going back to "the room" and staying there for up to 10 minutes. They come back out and sit down like nothing happened. What happens back there? Shop here at...
Read moreCalled the Ottumwa store and spoke to Aaron. I was trying to ask questions about a plan that I am on that my papa was primary on but he recently pasted away. I don’t talk to the secondary on the account and she (Aaron) said well I’m going to need a death certificate and and secoundary to come in and sign papers. And I asked her (Aaron) if there was anything else I could do or what I could do and she said all I could do was get the secondary person to bring in a death certificate very rudely and I again told her that I didn’t talk to the secondary holder of the account and she said good for you. She then transferred me to a manager so I could talk to him and he did explain and answer my questions. Aaron was disrespectful and inconsiderate....
Read moreI wish I could make my rating even lower than 1 star. We have been LOYAL customers for almost an entire decade. Prices and fees keep increasing and the service they actually provide for my area is awful. We lose reception constantly, drop calls randomly when we have full bars and 5G. They do not work with their customers, they do not CARE about their customers. Poor customer service and poor phone/internet quality provided. We have had enough and urge you to do the same and switch to a different provider. I will be paying 1/2 the price for the same service under a new, more RELIABLE provider who cares about...
