I had an amazing experience with LaVisa and her colleagues at the Overland Park store. I am definitely not a design expert! In fact, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler and have a very difficult time picking out patterns and sizes that fit into the space I am working with. Walking into a furniture store is overwhelming for me, but my feelings changed as soon as LaVisa greeted my daughter and me with a big smile and heartfelt welcome. LaVisa was attentive, not pushy. She didn't hover and quickly created a shopping experience that best met my needs. On my first day there, I went home with samples and what I 'thought' I wanted. When I went back two days later for our planned appointment, I learned that I needed to adjust a few of my expectations as to sizing and style of the sectional I was looking for. LaVisa did everything possible to help me, including pulling in her colleagues for input and suggestions. THREE hours later (because of me, not the team), I ordered my sectional, a leather recliner that doesn't look like a recliner, and an ottoman. LaVisa coordinated the best fabric/leather options, the best configurations, ran multiple cost reports, and never made me feel rushed to make a decision. I am on cloud nine! In a world where so much of the shopping experience is 'serve yourself' or 'commissioned sales so I can't help my colleague,' the team at Bassett showed that excellence still exists. I am so grateful and look forward to working with LaVisa again...

Purchasing our sofa and ottoman from Basset Furniture in KC was a fantastic experience. The showroom is well-appointed, and the furniture itself appears to be very high quality. I worked with Rachel, who was incredibly helpful. She was knowledgeable, very patient as I took my time making decisions, very kind, and provided valuable insight into their specific products including a wide variety of fabrics for customization of our furniture. She was readily available when I came into the showroom, and also very responsive when we were emailing about purchase decisions. It is so helpful to be able to bring fabric samples home to see them in your own space. I also love that Bassett furniture is made in the United States. I am excited to see the finished products when they are delivered! I never considered going anywhere else for this purchase, and we will continue to choose Basset for any future furniture needs....

My beautiful new bookcase/display case was just delivered, and I couldn’t be happier! It looks great, it’s going to add SO MUCH to the look of our library, and the quality is A-1! My design consultant/sales rep, Jeanette Sisario, at the Overland Park, KS location was wonderful to work with, very accommodating and patient, and made every effort to see to it that I’d be happy with my purchase. The guys who delivered it were very professional and apparently VERY STRONG as this is a monumentally heavy item. They took great care to not damage our newly installed hardwood floors or paint job. They were courteous and helpful in assuring the piece was placed exactly as I need it. I am THRILLED with the quality and hope to soon purchase a complementary piece. I’m off to play with my new “toy” now!!! Thank you, Bassett...
