From the moment I walked in, tissues in one hand and a tangle of gold chains in the other (which may or may not have included a charm shaped like a miniature disco ball), the team at Roth treated me with such warmth and compassion, I honestly wondered if they’d been trained by therapists who moonlight in gemstones.
They listened patiently as I told stories behind each piece — like the cocktail ring Mom wore strictly when calling customer service — and they helped me sort through what had actual value versus what was... “memories in metal.” Their honesty was refreshing, never pushy, and somehow they made me laugh through the whole process, which I didn’t expect at all. (Grief is weird. Jewelry jokes help.)
I never felt rushed, judged, or like I was just another transaction. They made sure I got a fair price, explained every step, and treated Mom’s collection with the dignity it deserved — even the bracelet she wore while yelling at birds from the porch.
I left Roth Jewelry not just with a lighter bag (and slightly heavier wallet), but with genuine peace of mind. They helped me close a meaningful chapter with grace, humor, and sparkle — three things my mom would’ve absolutely approved of.
So if you’re looking to sell jewelry with heart, soul, and a side of well-timed humor, Roth Jewelry is your place. Thanks for...
Read moreMy fiance took my ring to get it sized at Roth. The sweet little old lady at the counter gave it a date on the receipt of the same day it was dropped off: 9-25-2012. When my fiance called the next day to pick it up a man told him that she was mistaken and it usually takes a week. I patiently waited a week for my ring to no avail. When he called today, October 2nd, the little old lady told him it had a due date of the 12th. 17 days to get a ring sized? I don't think so! I worked at a jewelry store for several years when I was younger. It only takes a couple hours and if they are so busy, being a chain jewelry store, they should employ people to help them.
I will NEVER buy anything from there, they lost my business and the business of everyone I know.
Horrible business practices.... Do not go there if you want a...
Read moreDo not trust them with antique jewelry. I took in my grandpas old ring to get it resized and spruced up they took two weeks longer then THEIR time line. Then when I got it it was a completely different ring wrong shape basically ruined. I had them fix it which took longer. Then when I went back for it it still was not the same ring. I lost precious details, and the ring still has flaws in it that they cause like cracks in the metal where it looks like they polished or sanded for too long. Be cautious when handing them old...
