I strongly urge anyone who is considering using their electronic repair service to look into other options. The manager is not the type of man you would like to do business with as he is very unprofessional and honestly very rude. Not only did he lie to me on multiple occasions that the battery that would be replaced in my phone was an authentic Apple product, but he would not refund my money after my phone locked up with a notification to take the battery out as it was not the correct battery. He also tried to charge me an additional $40 on top to put my old original battery back and and return the fake battery they tried to give me. Also, the first time I tried to drop off my phone, the manager didn’t want to give me a receipt stating they had my phone while I waited several hours for them to change the batteries. I told him I wanted proof that they had my device so I could make sure I got it back as many people have had their devices stolen by this store saying that they “lost” the device or that they never even received it for repair in the first place. Wish I could give zero stars. Bought a 300 dollar car battery last summer. Probably the fourth battery I have bought here. Tried to warranty the 300 dollar battery as it wouldn't keep a charge. Battery had 5 year warranty. Sales person took battery and said he would test the battery and call me. Never got a call, I called a week later and they said the battery was bad and they would have a new one by the end of the next week. Called that Tuesday because nobody reached out. The manager said the battery was never ordered and it wasn't his fault. Now I'm on week 4 and still no phone call or battery. Really upsetting, batteries and warranties are good. I'd like to voice a complaint about the local Batteries Plus Store in Owatonna. We took an iPad there for repair last fall due to a cracked screen. They lost it. They have not provided a working comparable replacement nor have they provided compensation for the lost device. They have never followed up with a phone call and store employees have stated to us- "it is our responsibility" to ensure this is followed up on even when we repeatedly tell them no one has called back or followed up. We have spoken with someone claiming to be the store manager who said he would contact the owner. NOTHING!!! Just thought you'd like to know about their customer...
