Kroger — Local services in Oxford

A few weeks ago, it was my daughter’s teachers birthday and we decided to get flowers last minute. I knew Kroger would have something we wanted. Before school drop off, my daughter and I stopped at Kroger and found a cute vase with flowers but felt like it needed a few more roses. We purchased the flowers and went to the counter where they customize what we want. No one was there. This was around 7:30 in the morning.

We searched for someone and asked if she can add the extra flowers into the vase and what a mistake that was. She let go of the box in her hands and was immediately annoyed at me and my daughter. She walked to the counter and started adjusting the length of the roses and adding them into the vase of flowers. She told me the girl that does this arrives at a later time ( I think she said 8 ) and usually charges but she won’t charge us. I thanked her and told her I appreciated it. But she was pissed at this point.

The way she was handing the flowers was very aggressively made me very uncomfortable. When she finished, my daughter was so happy and told her thank you!! She didn’t even look at her and say you’re welcome but got a “ umm yeah “. At that point I just wanted to leave everything behind because of how rude this lady was to me and my daughter. But I kept it together for my child and didn’t want to disappoint her.

If the lady had told me from the start, she couldn’t do it or come back when the other girl arrives, or even charged me, I would not have minded. Very unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. Will never go back for flowers at Kroger ever again. I didn’t get the girls name but she was Caucasian with medium length brown hair. She worked in produce. I’ve never had any issues at Kroger and most times, the employees there are friendly and helpful but...

Leaving Kroger today and I am so upset about there customers service on the floor that is stocking. I am particularly talking about the the WHITE GUY that were stocking on the aisle with the cookies. I asked him a question about the oreo cookies that's on the digital coupons because the stickers on the shelf does not match the items. So he preceeded to show me like I were stupid and I am looking at the package and know that what he were saying wasn't right. He had an attitude and this 😒 is unacceptable because I despise people that have poor humility when it comes down to helping people period 😒. Kroger you need to address All employees on customer service especially in the self checkout because I could write more about this store. People are tired of spending their money and paying higher prices for poor service. Put the correct items in the right places. So disappointed today again 😞 Why is it that none of the Managers greet the customer when they pass you and when you enter the store. I know they don't me. Maybe it's my skin color . I am a regular customer that in there all the time so I watches everything and everyone. At least you could greet the peoples spending their money with you all and the price gouching that you all are doing....

I went to Kroger and bought (8) 6 packs of sodas and 4 cases of water. I'm dealing with Vertigo but loaded my basket. When I got to the register and asked for a carry out My rude cashier said If you loaded them in your basket why can't you unload it in your car 😏 If you know anything about Vertigo.. Lifting causes your Vertigo to get worse. Headaches, dizziness, blurred vision. " Her remarks upset me " Then I asked for my sodas to get bagged and that upset her. She finally did it. The couple behind me tapped me on my shoulder and said Ma'am our son will take your groceries to your car. He shouldn't of had to but I'm grateful for his help. I'm 67yrs old and some things others can do I can't. I tried to call the store 9 times and no one ever answered. I'm from Texas and there our Kroger does answer the phone and they do help the elderly take the groceries to the car. My cashier said she didn't want to be at work.
