I waited over 1 1/2 hours this evening on my prescription to be filled only to be told they only have 3 pills until Monday or Tuesday. I'm supposed to take 3 a day so this is no help!! That's 1 1/2 hours of my life wasted that I'm not getting back. When I voiced my opinion; the pharmacist told me that she is the only pharmacist there. This very same pharmacist has told me on 2 other separate occasions that she's the only pharmacist working at that time. I don't know if y'all need to hire more people or let go of some of the ones you have!! But something obviously needs to be done!! About 2 weeks ago I called my refill in and they told me it would be ready at 6 that evening. I waited until after 7 that evening to pick up my prescription and yet when I got there they had not even begun to work on it!! I said ya'll told me it would be ready at 6. The same lady pharmacist that keeps telling me she's the only pharmacist working told me again she's the only pharmacist working and had over 150 prescriptions to fill. She was rather rude about it too!! Well I told her in a matter of fact tone to not tell me that my prescription will be ready at 6 then. I ordered a refill once online. Well they had 2 or 3 days to fill it before I was to pick it up that Friday. I call them on my way there to make sure everything was ok. Well the prescription had not been refilled!! AND to make things worse; they didn't have it in stock and it would be Tuesday before they could get the prescription. Why offer an online refill service IF they aren't going to fill it!!?? I called Walgreens on December 10th and it took them 18 minutes and 50 seconds before anyone answered the call. Well they overcharged me on that prescription so I had to call them back on December 10th and this time it was 23 minutes and 46 seconds before anyone answered!! That's totally unacceptable!! Oh and they know who is calling whenever you call them. The customer service aspect of the pharmacy is practically non existent!! I call it non existent; others just call it horrible!! I work too hard for my money and I refuse to give my hard earned money to anyone who doesn't appreciate it!! To me appreciation is shown by kindness, by considering my time as valuable, by appreciating that I am giving you my business and my money (be it by insurance or out of my own pocket)and just plain ole good customer service. Definitely not by telling me that you're the only pharmacist working and you have over 150 prescriptions to fill and copping a negative and rude attitude!! IF I had wanted to know how her day was going then I would have asked!! IF you are unhappy with a company or corporation (as I am with Walgreens pharmacy)then STOP rewarding bad services by taking your business and more importantly taking your money elsewhere!...
Read moreWe have used this pharmacy since this store opened. We, in the past, loved the pharmacists who were cheerful, knowledgeable and organized. We knew their names and they knew ours. Unfortunately, they have both retired and the place is in shambles. (warning this is long). We get messages from Walgreens saying our prescriptions are ready, go to pick them up and they are unfound. There are baskets of filled prescriptions on shelves(supposedly alphabetically arranged). There are baskets of filled prescriptions on the floor, there are stacks and stacks of filled prescriptions on other shelves with no markings. Finally, there are two baskets at the end of the pharmacists workbench. You make a request for your prescription and the clerk starts to look. Sometimes they find it on the first try. They usually must look in all four places and often they do not find it and someone must come and help them. THEY DO NOT CARE, they shuffle across the floor, not giving a care. Somehow you need to incentivize these seemingly lazy people who half do everything If they are techs then you need to call the school from which you hire them and complain about their attitude. I taught at a University for 27 years and these people's attitudes would not have survived in our school. Shame, shame, shame. Today, I had an unusual situation, I am about to leave on a 47 day trip. I had meds that would run out while I was traveling, I spent yesterday at the Doctor's getting it all worked out. I asked to speak to a pharmacist, I was left standing waiting (no courteous "just a minute I will get her" or any kind of common curtesy, the helper just turned and left and left me standing). The pharmacist finally came, looked at me and said "WHAT DO YOU WANT". I replied "For you not to be rude". She collected herself and we tried to make it go. She made no effort to make the pills be billed to my insurance or to develop a travel plan as the old pharmacist would have. She begrudgingly filled them and declared that she did not even have a record of one of them. I had to drive out to the cardiologist and get a paper copy for her to fill. The cardiologists said they had sent it twice. So, I was involved with this sloppy, uncaring, messy place for THREE hours and still had to come back for one more prescription. I spoke to the manager, Will, who was very nice. He acknowledged that it was all a mess but he seemed unable to solve the problem. First, hire a high school kid to sort and place on shelves, not the floor, the many prescriptions so that the techs can find them and then work on attitudes and appearance. Finally, none of the dispensers had hand cleaner in them... When we return from this trip, we will...
Read moreZero stars, if I could - - Very poor management in the pharmacy department: I ordered online and paid for a RX and a couple of bottles of supplements of which could only be picked-up through the pharmacy drive-through. The order was placed on Sunday, which I received a text that I had 48 hours to pick it up or the order I paid for would be canceled. After going on Monday they were closed for Labor Day (understandable). I went on Tuesday with about 15 cars waiting in line that were not moving. I received another text stating that I had 24 hours to pick up my order or it would be cancelled. I went back at 7 PM, and the drive-through was still a long wait. I went inside the store (which was not my intention when ordering online) and the pharmacy wait line was backed-up with about 15 people standing. After calling the pharmacy and being placed on hold for 36 minutes to ask if I would be refunded for the order that I could not pick-up, I was told by an associate that Walgreens was COvid testing through the drive-through and suggested that I get up early in the morning and wait in the parking lot because the pharmacy is slammed, and they don't want potential infected people i n the store. That is all well and good, except, I still needed my paid for Rx, and I am a paying customer, of which some of those in the drive thru may or may not be. I understand this is a pandemic. What I don't understand is why someone cannot accommodate a customer who has already paid for items that are about to be cancelled by their automated system. Has the corporate business world gone insane? Is problem solving and brains not on the management application list? As a result, I've had to move all my medications to Kroger Pharmacy where I have a snowball's chance in Hades to get to them. Try calling the corporate office. It's the same song, second verse. Don't plan on getting a refill there unless you have a sleeping bag, a tent, and plenty of...
