I liked this location but the girl with the tattoos and dark hair that works here is so rude. I brought in my iPad to sell, because thatās something that GameStop does is buyback used electronics, and she rolled her eyes when I got to the counter. I almost left after that but I just wanted to sell my iPad for extra Christmas money since I donāt really use it.. She took my iPad saying they were able to buy it, and she plugged it in, and called someone to ask something along the lines of what program to use. She then proceeded to tell me after a few minutes of setting up the iPad that they werenāt buying the ipad I had, which was only like a year old. I asked why and she couldnāt give me a reason. I took this ipad to a different gamestop and I told them about my experience at this location and they told me she lied just so she didnāt have to manually put in all the info in the computer⦠I have come into the store other times while she was working and she acts like she canāt answer questions or even just be friendly.. Every other employee Iāve dealt with has been awesome and they always ask if any help is needed, but because of the negativity from this one employee I will not be coming to this location anymore. The cashier, who was supposed to be a team leader, rudely told me there was nothing he could do and Iād need to call Nintendo. I asked him if he had a number to which he snarked, āthereās probably a number on the back of the cardā. I couldnāt find it so I asked him to show me. When he couldnāt find it (because itās not there) he rudely said, ādo you want me to look for it? Iām just gonna google itā¦.ā I thanked the useless soul for his time and returned home to google this process, that for some reason canāt be handled in storeā¦.It turns out Nintendo has a whole process written out for this. So yes, shame on me for not researching a product flaw on my own. Shame on me for assuming the store I bought my product from would do anything to help me. The manager Mark is fantastic and always makes our son feel so important when he comes in. The other employees all recognize our son as well and seem to have fun telling him when the next Switch 2 game is released. They also get a kick about how into Beyblades he is. For anyone who isnāt aware, GameStop gets the new beyblades before ANY OTHER STORE IN THE PANHANDLE! To say the look of happiness on our 4 years old face when he walked in yesterday and saw 5 new beyblades including the T-Rex combo pack from the new Jurassic park movie. We have been stopping in weekly for 8+ months looking for them because our son says, āMaybe they are there!ā And yesterday they were.
