Here to talk about the most talked about locally owned restaurant this week!!! Previously I had given up on Wasabi House in Pace, everything about it had gotten terrible to say the least. BUTTT! After seeing lots of positive post about A NEW OWNER we went to check it out..Walking in The new remodel/ cleanliness was great off the bat coming in the door, We were greeted and immediately sat, Our drink orders were taken and we didn’t just have one waitress , they worked as a team!!! But there was a waitress making rounds to every table quickly and making sure everyone was okay, asking how their day was, when she made it to our table she greeted us with a smile on her face, asked us how our day was and complimented us!!!! Already amazing !!!! Then she made the recommendation of A Thai Curry, and we went with yellow #thai Curry, (a little back story we travel over a hundred miles to eat Thai #thaicurry sometimes so This curry had big shoes to fill) She immediately put in our order and within 5 min The curry came out steaming with an amazing aroma !! And then BOOM !!! That Spoon hit my mouth and I was instantly doing my yummy food happy dance!!!! The waitress brought out our Cucumber salad and cream cheese wontons next and OMG So good, the cucumbers were crisp and the cream cheese Wontons were full of filling and a perfect crisp at the top!! Then The amazing waitress comes back by to offer us a little treat because she was having some at the time she wanted us to try, it was an orange with some amazing seasoning, I caught her Name on her tag and it Was GIGI, and I remembered from the previous post someone said the new name is GIGI’s wasabi house!!!!!! This entire time our WAITRESS IS THE OWNER !!!!! After realizing who she was we talked a bit about business and how she sees herself as equal to her employees and they have a constant line of communication because it’s important.. What an amazing and humbling experience it was to eat there yesterday and I’m about to put in my door dash order for more now !!! This may not be Jackson’s downtown but I will take this locally owned and OPERATED down to being your WAITRESS and AMAZING SERVICE and a very HUMBLE AND KIND owner, AND AMAZING FOOD WITH GREAT PRICES all day over Jackson’s!!!Guys go check them out and help keep her and her husbands dream alive 🙂 below are some photos I took of our food 🙂

Went for lunch a few weeks ago and liked my steak hibachi well enough (see picture), but the service was damned near absent. The lazy waitress appeared eventually with menus, ghosted for about 10 minutes, came back to silently take my order, then didn't reappear until she delivered my food and drink concurrently. What the actual hell? She mumbled something once over the wall, which I assumed was an inquiry about whether or not I needed anything. I grunted back a monosyllabic noise and didn't see her again until I had to launch a flare to obtain my check. Just kidding...I didn't have a flare at hand. So. The food was fine. The ambiance was funereal and depressing. The service was apathetic to the level of simply pathetic. Three stars on the strength of the grub and in spite of the slob who can't grok the basic concepts of being a waitress.

Hands down, favorite all around Asian cuisine in the Milton and Pace area. So much variety here. Absolutely love their sushi rolls, hibachi, and coconut shrimp or chicken. This is one of the very few places around here that have that sweet creamy coconut sauce, and the pineapples in it make the recipe all the more delicious. (Coconut chicken pictured) The steak in the hibachi bento is always tender and juicy with just the right amount of flavor. (Pictured is a salmon hibachi) My go to rolls (both pictured) are the Baymeadow (deep fried roll with smoked salmon, crab, cream cheese, topped with tasty sauce), and the Salmon Katsu (fried salmon, cream cheese, avocado, topped with eel sauce). The miso soup, salad with ginger dressing, and hot tea always hits the spot along with whatever roll or plate I get here. Highly recommend.

Not sure where to place this cute hole in the wall.

The guest came in like regulars and were easily seated while I struggled over the menu, but the host remained by my side, kindly helping, answering every question.

The menu threw me. Why have a sushi wrap of only rice 🍣 (not Onigiri) it came w/only a slice of salmon 'on top'. They call it a Salmon Roll. Every Salmon roll I've had was filled with Salmon, rice, a crunch of green & orange w/ cream cheese & more or something. "For an additional cost you can add in whatever you want." I smiled

Saddened, I wanted to turn & leave, but I was hungry, & the lady was so kind. So I ordered 3 rolls. Yeah, I'm a foodie. I have to try everything.

So, still disappointed in the lacking flavor from ordering As-is, I wanted to taste their version, not mine. I ate a tasteless sweet potato roll. Ordered, thinking It had so much potential. My other rolls were...

Me and my mom have came here for years and come a couple times a month recently and a few weeks ago they changed there spring rolls and it taste and looks like it has meat in it and taste like chemicals and we didn’t like them and then came back a few weeks later and they had got there original ones back then we went back today and they didn’t tell us they changed back to there new ones and we didn’t like them and the manager came over to take them off our bill and she’s told us to never order them again and that we are the only ones who complain about them she was being so rude and ridiculous about it the table next to us was even disturbed by her. The first time we ordered them she also had told us that other people didn’t like them and had complained. She so lied and was super disrespectful and what she did was unprofessional she doesn’t deserve to be a Manager or in customer...
