Five Guys — Restaurant in Florida

The best part about my first time at 5 guys was an older lady working behind the counter. Her name is Debbie. She did a fantastic job telling me the difference in size if burgers, helping me decide on what I wanted. She was very patient, since it was my first time. My husband knew about how good t he food was. Already. I really enjoyed Debbie, she was very friendly, and had a great attitude. The Manager, on the other hand deemed to try to rush this lady. We ordered our food to go, but decided to eat in. She was explaining cup sizes for drinks to me when the manager to her she needed a ticket for the drink. Since I hadn't actually ordered it yet, it pissed me off to see this young woman pushing Debbie about the order. After the catered order was over, the Manager who seemed aggravated at helping ,immediately disappeared, leaving just Debbie and a cook with 3 more customers waiting to order, then the 2 of them cooked the next orders and bagged them with No Help from " Manager". The did an awesome job! I hope their corporate headquarters reads these reviews and investigates that...

Very expensive for a family of 3 ...no combos or anything .I spent 40 without drinks just got some peanuts to go....the staff is usually very patient and upbeat with me because I try to be and I did ask for my sons if they were hiring and they said they were and they were starting new things and my sons have been looking for work for over 3 years and went in on today and got told they better not lie on their applications and someone gave them a false name as the managers name so when I called they said no one was there by that name...strike two, strike three is that they have no work history and being young they don't have references and never even been offered anything get their foot in the door but they are well known in school by a few people...so I don't know what to expect being that I never seen any variety of work crew there and just like another establishment they applied for and didn't get either I'm sure this was a wasted visit on this rainy...

3/3/2022: my wife ate a late lunch so I got to grab my dinner on the way home. I wanted a cheeseburger… not just any cheeseburger, but a very good cheeseburger. Drop the mic - not just good, but a great cheeseburgers and excellent fries… plus they have one of those fountain drink machines with a billon combinations of flavors. If that isn’t enough to bring you there… check out my pics. Also, clean… I mean very clean restaurant! I ate inside and watched this guy clean the windows of the whole restaurant inside & outside. He got down on his knees and did a far better job than anyone or even me could have done. He came back inside when I was leaving and I asked for a pic. He said his name was Dakota. Five Guys owes him a raise because he “IS FIVE GUYS BRAND!” This type of worker is why I’ll be back to this location. Great food and hard working young folks...
