In my email, you can tell that I eat at longhorns at least twice a month, this is my second and last time at this location. I’ve had nothing but bad experiences at this location, i will not be ordering from this location EVER again. They are very racist and disrespect. I was here to pick up my order and made the poor mistake of having to use the restroom. Well the greeter basically followed me the bathroom and when i came out guess who was standing there. The restaurant manager. I’m going to assume they thought i was somewhere i wasn’t suppose to be. I purposely scheduled my order to be done at 8:15 so I can pick it up on my way home from work. Of course, my order was not ready at 8:15 and nobody from the bartenders to the to go specialist greeted me and asked me about my order to even see if it was ready to be. Well, guess what it was ready and it was ready to be bagged once I complained about standing there for 15 minutes With no acknowledgment whatsoever. Unfortunately, for them, I will be calling guest relations tomorrow of course I’m going to get some type of answer about the poor customer service skills they have. The manager did try to speak to me, but of course, just like last time he was being very condescending and acting as if nothing was wrong. This is two for two now. like I said, I will not be back. I would rather drive all the way to pensacola or fort walton to get what I want.
I placed an order online and i realized that i was working later than i usually do so right away i called the restaurant to ask them to push my order from being done at 7:49 to 8:30 pm. The togo specialist was very nice about it and said that would do that. I missed a call from them and i called back within a minute. The greeter answered and was very nice and transferred me to the togo specialist/manager. I wait on the phone for 5 minutes waiting for someone to answer. Like i said i was at work and i obviously can not be on my phone for a long period of time so i had to hang up. I figure it if was important they would make that effort to make another call . At 8:15 i got a call from longhorns and they were asking me if i was coming to pick up my food. I explained to the person about my previous calls. They ended up transferring me to the manager and he was very short with me and didn’t want to understand my frustration after he told me that i would have to wait another 15-20 for my food to made hot cause the initial food was sitting out there on the table from 7:49. I told him it’s all good i’m not that far away. When i got i asked to speak to him about getting a gift card for all my trouble. He again was very short with me and didn’t not make eye contact and seem very annoyed. I personally don’t feel like i was rude or nasty about the whole situation. But he was very dismissive, he did agree to pay for my food which was great but i don’t appreciate the disrespectful body language and demeanor towards me when i did everything in my power to communicate with them.
as I was writing my review, my food was brought to me by that same manager, and he had a more respectful tone and was apologetic. So that did influence me to up the stars on my rating. I am just going to take it as he was having a bad moment in time and understand that people do go through things that influence their attitudes, but I’m hoping in the future that he can be able to manage that more efficiently and...

The appetizers were really good. They were actually the highlight of the meal. The spinach dip with pita chips was my favorite.
The server was really good and attentive. She kept the table cleared when the dishes were done and kept drinks full.
The 45 minute wait to be seated is not fun but expected as this is a new place.
We did have an issue with the doneness on two of the dishes we ordered. My husband ordered a ribeye medium rare and it arrived rare. He likes it rare so it wasn’t a problem but he wanted to let them know anyways since my order was undercooked as well, he thought they might want to inform their cooks. I ordered the chopped steak medium rare and it arrived mushy and pink the entire way through with the texture and appearance of raw hamburger meat. A manager came and explained to us that was how Longhorn does medium rare. Edgar even went and got a pamphlet with diagrams showing us the cook temperature vs color on their meats. I’m sorry but it still didn’t add up and seemed like his justification was slightly condescending. They did remake my order (chopped steak) and comped it which was not necessary. We weren’t trying to get a free meal. Genuinely just trying to give feedback on the ribeye and I’ve never had nor seen red meat served that underdone and be defended by management. Two more managers came to our table and we’re going above expectations to resolve the issue that was really not a big issue but I appreciate their diligence. However I was embarrassed by the attention at this point and just wanted to leave.

Read moreGod tonight frustrated me… Been to longhorns many many times. So I reserve online 8 parties ahead we wait no big deal. Sit down right next to the manager/server tower for 15 minutes no acknowledgment no bread lol nothing the 19 year old server finally comes im like I don’t need bread im ready to order drinks appetizer and entree. App comes out before drinks like that makes sense.. gobble it down… drinks come out finish app half hour later manager brings another appetizer saying nobody wanted it here you go AKA here comes the I screwed up speech…. Finish that app to 10 min go by we ask server is our food coming out there were 3 parties left at the tables mind you we came in every table full.. she admits a steak got screwed up… 10 min later 1hour 30 min in we get our food in waves.. my medium well was rare about threw up all other steaks were correct. I sent it back asked for to go plates they wanted to remake it I said no. I work 6 days a week 12 hour days I don’t want to spend 2 hours at a steak house.
