Normally I don't have a problem. I have been to this cinema maybe 60 times I the last 3 years. That being said............ Wow......... The Terminator Genisys world premier was last night. After working all day and gettibg home to rake a shower and get three kids ready for this flick. well, to say the least I was excited. The original came out my senior year in high school. Popcorn, check, candy, check, kids and the bathroom, check........Good seats?????? well, there where us five and four other people in the theatre so we had our pick. Talking, nervous chatter, the lights finally dimmed. Here come the dreaded previews. Yayyyyyyyyy, theyre over. The paramount logo, the dolby stereo, the 3D, we were ready. A huge white egg showed up on the screen, it started to crack, What! a dinosaur? THIS WAS JURASSIC WORLD!!!!!!!!!! A good flick, but I was here a week ago Thursday to play part in ITS billion dollar run. After a quick trip o the night manager things were finally ready. Another 20 minute wait. The young lady come in with the news. " Technical difficulties, there will be no movie tonight!" She requested that we come to the concession counter as the ticket booth was already closed. I paid f$52.25 for my tickets via credit card and she offered $46 because " that was her only 5 ticket transaction". After using her calculator she gave me $51.05. I spent almost $40 on popcorn and candy for me and the children. I surely didn't get these items to be consumed in my car. the ATTITUDE was unreal. Obviously she was ready to go home. Just a side not....... This was the 9:45PM showing, did nobody go to the 7:00 PM show. As far as my 25 minute drive to the theatre........ Well, if you are going to visit this cinema don't expect much and take your time. Ive tried to call the Manager "Jeremy" all day and left several messages as well as an email. Guess what.... NO RESPONSE. I can tell where the customer service training comes from. Enjoy your night at the movies..... if...
Read moreIF YOU HAVE SENSORY SENSITIVITIES/ISSUES PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE GOING. I have a sensory problem with loud noises, usually I am able to get through a movie without too much of a problem. All of the theaters I have been to previously have noise levels that are just low enough to be bearable for me without my own accommodations (earplugs). Because of my past experiences with other theaters I didn’t think to bring my earplugs. I went to see Top Gun last night with my parents and the noise level (ESPECIALLY during the previews) was too high for me. I was not the only one who thought it was too loud because my mom and dad (who do not have sensory issues) made comments like “we are going to be deaf when the movie is over”. For anyone who doesn’t have sensory issues, imagine hearing something that makes you want to rip off your ears (obviously you don’t actually rip your ears off that just shows how horribly uncomfortable you are that you would even think that). Anyways cut to the end of the movie, I have a horrible migraine because of the prolonged exposure to the very loud sounds. I’m not asking the theaters to change the volume drastically. It would be nice if they could change the volume to a level that is pleasant on your ears (obviously it would probably still be on the louder side because it is a theater). This change in volume would not only be beneficial to me but also any other neurodivergent person or person with a sensory processing disorder that decides to go and watch a movie at your cinema. Because its not a very pleasant experience walking away from a theater being overstimulated ...
