Marc's — Local services in Painesville

Came in to get cheese sliced from the deli. I needed it sliced thick. I had plans of doing something specific with it. I get the cheese and it is so thin on the one end that I am sure it was thinner than a slice of cheese. They sliced it with a knife instead of using the slicer. This was the second time in a week I got bad service from the deli. The other time I was told they were done with slicing cheese for the day and they were still open for half an hour. This was the only place you could count on good service before, I guess we were all that lucky it lasted this long. They spray painted their carts recently, which only made them look worse. The paint rubs off onto clothing and hands and probably the food as well. Stockers are trained very poorly. Old stuff is behind new stuff with a great deal of date ranges. What happened to the Marc's...

Marc's is always a great idea !!! Check the ad for specials... if you don't get one in the mail, they're just inside the front door! They almost always have inexpensive and beautiful fresh flowers, and my favorite aisles are the house plants, and incredible buys... unusual things, nicely priced...you can spruce up any room in the house, without spending alot, and you can find fantastic gifts there, too !!!

Back in the day, the only "Marc's" was out by Eastgate Shopping Center, and I believe it was called Bernie Shulman's...and a trip to that store was always a BIG DEAL!!! We are so lucky to have one this close by.. And, a big PLUS...the employees I have dealt with have always been friendly and helpful people!!! Way to...

I used to work here it’s revolting and management is horrid, general manager is nonstop losing assistant managers and can’t keep supervisors everybody’s on their phone and everybody’s underpaid. Josh doesn’t take ideas from his workers nor customers prices are always wrong he’s the only thing that’s “right” they only work everybody part time to benefit their salaries I was right at my year advanced and they fired me. Probably so I didn’t get the raise or paid time off. I would just avoid this store entirely unless you want to get sick, aggravated, or want to check yourself out because they’re losing all the cashiers by firing them or cutting their hours Inevitably. Sincerely...
