80° degrees inside!!! 🔥 My daughter and I went on Labor Day to see It Ends With Us. A 1:30pm showing. I am disabled, and the first thing I saw was a sign saying we must call a telephone number to gain access to the elevator. What?? Are you kidding me? This is disgraceful! Of course, I had to figure how long it would take... by the time someone showed up? We would miss the beginningof the movie. I attempted to climb a rather unsteady set of temporary wet stairs... 3 flights! Which took me some time due to an injury I have, it was embarrassing for me. As people shot me looks... like, why can't this woman just keep going. I had to constantly stop, while people got impatient. This is unacceptable for handicapped people. I'm in my fifties, I can't imagine a 60 or 70 year old attempting this, unless they're a fitness guru. If they have any ailment? It's ridiculous. When you finally reach the top? Some rocket scientist decided it's a great idea to put down tile! Yes, nice slippery when wet tile! (It rained that day) Which I had to take baby steps on, in order to not bust my behind! By the time we reached the theater, I was a sweaty mess. Only to find minimal relief. As the movie theater was extremely warm. As far as cleanliness? It looked like a war zone. Trash & food/popcorn everywhere, and no one beside adolescent staff, which didn't seem to care at all. $15.00 for this? Then comes the capper! The theater room itself? It must have been almost 80° degrees! Grateful I had a sweater? To lay on the seat! The chair literally stuck to my legs, it was so hot. My back was soaking wet. This was the most uncomfortable movie experience I ever had at a movie theater, that I used to love. Movie theaters are always kept nice and cool. You usually bring a sweater, to keep cozy. This I assure everyone, was not the case. Several people complained and it did absolutely nothing. I think they lowered it maybe a few degrees. It was an extremely uncomfortable experience. Whoever is running the show here? You're ruining this theater! Unless, it's what your hoping for? Is that the next thing we're going to lose downtown? Please! We like having a nice movie theater in our community. So please, release the grip on the air conditioning and cool the place down! Also, please make your staff clean up!! We asked several times to turn the AC down... afterall, we paid! And...
Read moreSo terrible it could be the worst movie theater experience ever. Parking was a long hike away followed by stairs and torn apart light fixtures everywhere. Two scanners weren't working for tickets but I didn't really need them. We arrived 15 minutes early, spent 30 minutes in the concession line causing us to miss the start of the movie. Two people for a long line. There was a manager of some kind but they flitted in a few times without helping. Two people behind the counter, clearly untrained and also not customer service oriented or even trying to move beyond a sloth pace. They had to also fill the popcorn machines with oil and seasoning, restock things, handle the other side where they had stashed straws, etc.
The theater is dirty, old and run-down. Bathrooms disgusting with long lines. Think of that out-of-the way gas station bathroom you once had to use in an emergency where...
Read moreI used to come here all the time as a kid. I haven’t been here in about 8 years now, and this place has changed for the worse. Upon entering the parking lot there was no accessible handicap area or escalator to get to the theater. Construction was going on loudly during the day. The inside of the theater was dirty, the floor had popcorn all over the concession floor, wet floor signs where butter was alllll over the ground. The attendants were absent. Nobody took my ticket I could have seen the movie for free not to mention it was HOT in here! Once inside the theater room the lights were all off so we couldn’t see where we’re walking.
Horrible experience. I will be contacting corporate with photos and hopefully getting a refund. Not great at all because it once was!
