United States Postal Service — Local services in Palmetto

This is Terrible. I’m still waiting for my package it was supposed to arrive on 03/05/2024. I’m about to go to the news outlets and complain. I’m gonna need some extra funds a refund and some others stuff or something cause this is unacceptable. This is what I get a email saying Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility. That does not help me. They are so quick to take our money but don’t give us good service in return is wild. I’m taking this to the news outlets and ABC, Fox, CNN, WSBTV you name it. This delay is unacceptable If I was this late for working at this distribution center I would have been fired so Why is it that my package can be this late I’m writing this on the 03/09/2024 and I know I’m still gonna be waiting the following week. I need compensation. Everyone should be compensated for the wait times. I read a comment on IG that someone is waiting for their package for over 2 weeks. This is a shame and I will complain complain complain. I’m writing a ton of reviews about this location. This is another email they sent me Thank you for taking the time to notify us of your experience.

We are working diligently to process all mail in a safe and efficient manner. We will update the tracking once it has been processed and it arrives to our delivery unit. There is a postal counter clerk at the Palmetto GA. location who treats me like a 2nd class citizen every time I visit for stamps. She acts like she does not want to serve people fully. When I ask to see stamps they have she points to a display that is 5 years old and says "that is all we have" which I have seen more selections in the book behind the desk.

Today I asked for some heritage stamps, which they had only Lena Horne, and she flipped pages by groups and when I asked her to slow down and what else did she have in the book she pointed to the 5 year old sign and said "that's all we have and just stared at me. I asked to see what else was in the book and she did not let me see. Instead she said there are no more heritage stamps. I told her I wanted to see what else was in the book and she hurried through flipping 3 to 4 pages at a time without letting me see the options. I felt rushed and hurried.

This person appears to not have customer training well enough and is not a polite person also. I feel intimidated by her when I go into the post office and really regret not being able to shop where I live. She appears as if she does not like her job!

On today she was at the middle counter at 3:15 pm Thursday 3-22-2018.

The whole USPS in general is a soup sandwich. But palmetto is the face of complete failure. I ordered a package back on February 13th and it sat in Illinois for one week and didn’t move. Filled out a missing mail search and that got it moving again, it was looking like it was going to come on through but of course it ended up in palmetto and now I just keep getting updates of my package is moving through the network but never anything saying it’s left the wretched place.
