Attention!!!! Palmetto Library hours Monday 10am-5:45pm, Tuesday 10am-7:45pm, Wednesday-Saturday 10am-5:45pm, Sunday Closed. When you cut a vital service 15min before you close, just close the door. Not everyone is a “towny” and knows the strange way you operate. Someone could be coming across town and needs to print an important document and thinks they have 15min to spare, but nope Palmetto Library shuts down the computers 15min before they close. Don't waste your time coming to this library if your not a cardholder. Your only allotted 30 minutes and if you go over your continuously locked out. So, you have go back to the desk and ask for an another time slot when other libraries will automatically extend your time if you are working. Honestly, this library I see is a little judgmental if you ask me in the time that I have been here 3 days . Like, they say don't judge a book...

We absolutely adore our library! As a child of the 80s and coming of age in the 90s, I absolutely grew up with shows like Wishbone, GhostWriter and of course Reading Rainbow. I've been a voracious reader my entire life and love that my daughters have inherited the same. Friendly librarians, amazing selections, even free take-home family activities. I would live there if...
