This store is absolutely disgusting, the food and the service. When I drove up to pay for my food not only did I not get greeted I was looked at like I had a booger in my nose. I dismissed this bad customer service but I waited to receive my food. When it came my order was completed and my onion rings were literally cold. The manager came to the window and I told him. He gave me that same blank stare the first employee gave before he reached for the onion rings which I already had out stretched in my hand. I also complained about my incomplete drink and after giving me some new onion rings and he lied about it being an extra charge for whipped cream but proceeded to go get me whipped cream for my drink. When he came back I told him that the customer service was bad and that's why even though I have been living in the area for many years I don't frequent this Dairy Queen. He quickly said the reviews for the store was great and slammed the drive thru window in my face and walked off. I immediately drove to the parking area and went in. I told him how unprofessional he was and that I needed his name which is Om Panwar which he specified by pointing to a Servsafe certificate on the wall and didn't verbalize anything. I also asked him for his corporate store number and he refused telling me to find it online. This store has been this way for a long time. A bunch of people with no common decency or customer service skills. The food is always cold and they act like the customer did something to it to make it cold. Smh. I will NEVER as long as I live in Palmetto go to this Dairy Queen ever again. As a child I loved Dairy Queen but now this place is...
Read moreJuly 25, 2017 at 7:48pm. I am marking the date and time because a mere half an hour ago my mother and I were mistreated at this location. The Dairy Queen was completely empty except for the staff at hand. My mother and I were in the drive through. We knew what we wanted; however, we were then told that our preferred order was no longer available, even though it was still heavily advertised complete with large posters and all. Upon hearing this new information we excused ourselves so that we could agree upon a new order. When we made up our minds we attempted to gain the attention of the drive through attendant, once we did she said and I quote, "Waiting on you" in a blunt tone. I was taken back by this and so was my mother. I cannot believe that we were treated as if we were an inconvenience for giving this establishment our business. In fact we did not give them our business after we were insulted like that, we drove right off. I would also like to add that the ill-mannered drive through attendant was giggling and carrying on with a coworker who was clearly not doing anything of importance.
This was not our first bad experience at this establishment. I believe that there will always be off days; however, after giving this particular restaurant a fair go, I believe that it is safe to say that our business will always be taken somewhere else and rightfully so. In case the other reviews do not yield a solid clue, this establishment is in dire need of new employees who understand what it means to act like civil...
Read moreUpdate: For some reason that I don't yet fully comprehend, I subjected myself to a Blizzard and the horrible customer service that comes with it -- at this particular Dairy Queen location. After hearing a muffled and less-than-appreciative"$6.45 Next window" by the kid on the speaker (no "thank you" or cheery tones to be found here), I was treated to a long, shall I say Aggressive Scowl by the person at the window -- after having the nerve and the gall to politely ask her to wipe a long drip of ice cream running down the side of the cup before handing it to me -- as it would have dripped all over my hand and the interior of the car. It was literally a 7 second scowl. Impressive.
So there's that.
The kitchen seems to be entirely run by kids. At least I have some satisfaction that, despite hitting my waistline, the Blizzard did taste good.
Just hoping the management or ownership will understand that customer service needs to be addressed at this location, as it continues to suffer.
