If I could assign this school a zero-star rating, I would without hesitation, as my experience has led me to believe that it operates in a manner that is both unprofessional and disorganized. A prime example of this chaos is the new instructor, Ericka, whose lack of fundamental knowledge in her field is alarming. Rather than fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment, her inflated ego seems to pit her against both her students and her colleagues, which I fear could ultimately jeopardize the school's reputation and result in serious legal ramifications. It feels as though she fabricates information to construct a narrative that only serves to elevate her own standing, leaving students feeling belittled and confused. Furthermore, once enrollment fees are paid, communication disappears; reaching the administration becomes an arduous task until they are ready to solicit additional payments. While the school owner displays a modicum of decency, it is clear that more competent staffing is essential to uphold a standard of integrity and honor in the educational process. This school, in my opinion, operates much like a scam, undermining the very principle of advocacy we are supposed to develop—how can one effectively advocate for patients when the institution prioritizes profit over principle and...
Read moreThe pros: Ms. Hana is great! Very compassionate, great environment. Flexible schedules. They work with you on school payments. They didn't offer FAFSA when I went in 2016, but I know they were working on providing that option for students. They do offer scholarships which brought down my tuition a whole lot.
The cons: I didn't like that they would promise to take us on student field trips and wouldn't happen. Such as the coroner's office, Misericordia, the museum they were working on opening. Also, we never used the lab they have which I personally think would've helped prepare you a lot before going to clinicals.
Update: 2022 I have been working as a Plastics Nurse assisting in surgeries like liposuction, breast augmentation, face-lift etc. There are many roads for an LPN. DON'T LET ANYONE TALK YOU OUT OF YOUR CAREER PATH. IF YOU WANT TO BECOME A RN DOWN THE LINE YOU WILL ONLY NEED 1 YR FOR THAT WITH YOUR LPN! GOODLUCK! Read moreI've been trying to attend this school for almost 2 years got my medical clearance, passed teas and still to this day, I was never given a tuition amount. they say they offer so many scholarships but never tell you how to get started. submitted my personal one for the school got approved but still nothing. I was told about th wilkness scholarship but reading it its not guaranteed and you can submit it until to official starting the class. The tuition is exactly $20,077 . which went up almost 3K sine I first applied. once you get $5,500 from the school they say its $2,500 to hold your seat you'll be paying almost 1K a month for tuition from my own calculation they never tell you just want you to sign everything then tell you the price later. From the looks of this program will be a great benefit to our community but to not accept fasfa and not walk us through how to get the scholarship is a downfall in this economy 1k mostly is a lot considering 9/10 of us have to still maintain a...
