Update I made the mistake of meeting a friend here for a few drinks and an appetizer...the prices are insane $7 for two domestic beers after advertising $2 domestics on their sign. Then my friend ordered an appetizer and he was asked to pay for the food in order for them to put the order in. That was extremely offensive behavior. The saganaki was $17.50 for a 4"x4" piece and a pita cut up into small pieces. Totally insane, inflation is hitting everyone and if establishments are going to price gouge, I would rather spend the $5 a gallon on gas and other necessities. Go to Krapils, it's way better.

This bar used to be a lot busier with a great after work crowd, now it's usually dead. You won't get a free drink in here no matter how often you patronize. The prices are definitely going up, and the only real asset they have is the cook, if he leaves they are really in for trouble. This bar is pretty and clean with tons of potential, it just seems like they only care about the nighttime crowd (younger) instead of trying to get the after work crowd that comes...

If I could rate this place below zero, I would. I strongly advise against visiting AVALON if you’re looking for a comfortable and respectful environment.

While the venue itself is stylish and the waitstaff are friendly and professional, the atmosphere is completely ruined by the owner and his friends, who sit around constantly staring at female guests. Their behavior is invasive and inappropriate — it feels like they’ve never seen women before.

Bringing your wife or family here would only make you feel uncomfortable. These men act uncivilized, making guests feel watched and unwelcome. It’s no surprise that the place is often empty, despite its elegant appearance and good service.

Bottom line: the uncomfortable, disrespectful behavior from these individuals makes the entire experience...

We ordered for the 1st time to go. The girl who took our order was very nice and friendly, she took her time and answered any questions we had. 3 cheeseburgers n appetizer platter. The food was FANTASTIC!! The burgers far exceeded our expectations! They were a good size, tasty, juicy cooked exactly how we ordered them. The appetizers were awesome as well. Huge variety of things not normally on a standard app platter..delicious greek kebobs, wings, waffle fries, etc..it helps that we live less than 4 mins away so the food was piping hot, but those burgers would be fabulous even reheated..this place on my top 5 best burger I've had personally.
