Belvedere Chateau — Attraction in Palos Township

If I could write a 10-star review about Belvedere Chateau, I would. We booked our hall in 2017, with previous owners. I was a little concerned when I found out there would be new owners for our wedding on 9-14-19. I was so wrong. Ela and Bolek (the new owners) went above and BEYOND for our wedding. We had 900 guests and the plated service. The appetizers and desserts were flavorful and tasty. The “swedish table” had such an amazing variety of scrumptious foods to choose from that were all presented so beautifully (see picture). The dinner was served promptly at 8:30 PM. It was served HOT, the tomato soup was luscious, the steaks were tender and juicy, the double baked potato was creamy and packed full of flavor. The chicken was amazing, the pierogi were delicate and addicting! Needless to say, I have never eaten such a flavorsome and delectable meal at a banquet hall. It was so yummy.

The planning process was so smooth. I worked very closely with Magda and she helped every step of the way. She was very calming and found solutions for every problem. She and Jadzia worked very closely with me in helping to set up the before the wedding and during the wedding, so that everything was organized and went according to plan. They passed out escort cards, organized the sweet tables, and helped guests to a flute of champagne from the champagne fountain.

The staff and service on the wedding day were so helpful, diligent, and truly treated us like family. There was always sodas on the table, the food was served quickly, and clean-up after every meal was done swiftly. I truly am so appreciative for every single person at Belvedere for giving my husband and I the most amazing and perfect wedding. They went above and beyond with the service, the food, and the décor. Belvedere, after the new renovations, looks flawless and elegant. I am so impressed and I cannot wait to have more parties there.

The MOST DISRESPECTFUL banquet staff I have ever encountered. (8/2/19)

The food was very subpar, undercooked and our chicken was pink inside.

The serves were inattentive and rude. I asked for extra bread and she gave me attitude. Then, ten minutes after we got our extra bread another server took it away. We were in the middle of the main course and they were already cleaning up! The servers collecting empty drink glasses kept bumping into guests with their cart, hitting chairs and reaching over people without saying excuse me. Very bad.

The bartenders were alright, open bar but drinks took a while as they had to refill kegs. Need to work on refrigeration for the drinks.

The banquet hall itself was alright, just awkwardly designed. There’s pillars blocking the view of the dance floor and the bathrooms are hard to find for those visually impaired.

BEAUTIFUL Venue, AMAZING service, and food was to die for!!!! I had my wedding there this weekend(11/11/23) and leading up to it, the process was flawless. From the moment I booked in Feb 2022, Jadzia was available at any time to help with any questions I had. She was so helpful and so sweet!! My wedding was 505 guests and the staff was so on top of everything. Every single person received a hot meal in a quick and timely manner. The food was absolutely to die for and even my family from Poland boasted that it tasted like their homemade food back home if not better. The staff was so kind and helped with every request, even adding last minute tables, or grabbing more food, or drinks for us or guests who had special requests. I cannot say one thing bad about this Venue. Even how tidy they keep the place and bathrooms were spotless. HAVE YOUR EVENT HERE. It will be the absolute best...
