I really want to like this place but I’m they make it very hard to. I have been using them for almost 6-7 years for matching screw backs that fall off my earrings and always had a pleasant transaction. However since their store has encountered the terrible tragedy the faced it seems like they have become more reluctant to offer the old welcoming attitude that they used to have. I recently acquired a pair of lab diamond stud earrings. I immediately stopped into the store with a co worker of mine with the shipping box in hand and the lady who took them into possession question their authenticity immediately, she went as far as to break out their diamond tester and confirmed that they were real diamonds and she says “yup those are real alright.” Initially I felt disrespected but on the positive side I thought well at lest she confirmed for me that these diamonds are real and I don’t have to second guess their authenticity. She proceeds to then show me their personal collection of lab diamonds and I am thinking to myself you just questioned mine, why show me more? I asked for them to make my earring screw one in 4 prong gold settings and over the phone, Rich gave me one price and the day I got the call to pick them up he gave me a completely different price. When I showed up he adjusted the price and I paid with no problem. I then asked if he could appraise them and he gave me some excuse about them being so busy with their closing sale that he didn’t have time. I’m sure it doesn’t take that long to perform an appraisal but other people came on as I put my earrings in and he took very good care of them. Best of luck to them at their new location but I doubt if I will revisit the company again. I’d like to be treated like the other people that walked in and they greeted like family and if I can’t I take my money and...
Read moreI took my wedding ring to another Jewlers in the neighborhood and was told that my wedding ring would cost 1000.00 to repair, that the entire head needed to be rebuilt and it would only be guaranteed for a year. They told me that it would likely need to be repaired again after the one year. I went home thinking I wouldn't be able to wear my wedding ring anymore and that was so upsetting. We just couldn't afford that amount. I then took it to Reichman's and had it fixed for $50.00! They fixed it, shined it up, and said it didn't need a new head at all. They were so kind and honest. I just cannot believe the other jewlers, a mom and pop store also, could rip people off like that and go to sleep at night. I'm sticking to...
Read moreOdysseus was, by far, the most informative, transparent, and helpful person I have encountered in my search for an engagement ring.
The stones he showed me in-house were GIA certified and had higher quality color grades available than most of the other stores I have searched. He took to time to compare the loose stones and place them face down on a white sheet to show the difference, just as they are graded in labs. He also offered to show me any inclusions on the stones through the magnification tool, and emphasized the importance of all three cut symmetry grades as well as the affect depth has on the diamond’s sparkle.
If you are going to purchase a ring from a brick and mortar store (as opposed to online), I recommend...
