Where should I start about a month ago I had the unpleasurable experience I'm going into this location the absolute only reason why I went into this location is because the Les Brothers original location that's on 87th and Ridgeland what's clothes for a few days while the kitchen was being serviced had a huge issue with my order that was over $100 for my entire household call the spoke to the supervisor which appears to be very incompetent and has absolutely no idea on how to run a business with a trust fund baby attitude as if she inherited the business took my phone call and then asked me what did I want her to do this was after I explained my entire grievance but this message today is not about that eventually the entire matter was resolved my order was remade all $100 worth well close to it and I received a few cards for pancakes to be comp. in the future... the gentleman who gave these cards was the main reason why we had a pleasurable experience and was able to get our order corrected fast forward a month later I think we receive maybe three to four cards so far we've used to and each time you going to the Les brother Cafe which mind you this is the only facility that can give you these cards because if you go into the original location they won't even honor it the young lady that's at the counter to take your order speak to you in a manner that is very degrading almost to say that's all that you want not considering the current state of the economy and that that could be all that you can afford for the day she's loud and it's quite embarrassing so anytime you going to use one of these cards you have to break down to the lowest term as to how you obtained the cards what difference does it make you guys know why you hand out the cards big complimentary due to an error done by the company or just because you like the person smile either way why interrogate a person every time they come into the restaurant with the card I had the unpleasant experience to have to speak to the manager again and as usual she has no answers that makes sense I have no idea how she got into her role all must be a trust fund baby she has absolutely no empathy for a person situation shows no compassion speak to you in a very condescending tone and honestly could care less about your grievance keep in mind there's nothing like the real thing I can care less if the company was giving me in my household free food for one year I will not be doing business at this location on 95th Street why open a business and not know how to run it not sure a little compassion so if you want to go to a business that could possibly Scorch and mess up your food then you get it resolved get complimentary items but then have to go through an interrogation in order to use it then this is the place for you meanwhile the original Les Brothers food tastes much better the portion size is way bigger and it costs less food for thought when opening a business and running a company people need to know how to deal with and talk to people even if the items are complementary good day Oh lastly I just want to mention that the entire reason for this review is because I also want to stay that if you don't have a problem being profiled when you come in with a complimentary free card then again this is the place for you may you enjoy eat and be merry but as for me and my family love the food not the location so we will never be doing business here again the remaining cars will be trashed or maybe I can find a person that looks the right way so that they won't be profiled when they go into the restaurant...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGluten free is not safe here to eat. I have no idea how they messed this up for me and my wife but we got extremely sick today in morning and all night as a result from eating here. If you have celiac disease or an allergy they are not caring enough to learn proper handling procedures.
I was their first order of the day before restaurant opened so kitchen should have been at its cleanest least likely chance for contamination yet still got sick. For breakfest restaurants that is sad because its one if the easiest type of restaurants to eat gluten free at safely.
My best guess is chef used same spatula for gluten free and non gluten free pancakes at same tjme. This is a crucial mistake as you have gluten free pancakes costing a premium yet dont take the time to handle it safely for customets. Gluten free customers have less choices where they eat and by offering a product gluten free you became andan exclusive restaurant to them which can bring steady and guaranteed income. But you will never have a returning customer from getting them sick because you cant take time to learn how to be an actual cook and take care of your customers.
In a breakfest kitchen keeping gluten free is so simple even in a commercial kitchen environment that it is really sad. I spent $30 and ordered a good display of the offering breakfest wise and i must say not impressed.
The food was good tasting my wife did not like the sausages but i thought they were fine. Eggs were just basic okay egg whites nothing special. Hashbrowns under cooked and not evenly done. The pancakes were fine i did call and have employe read me the ingredients list all of which shoule have been fine. But the x contamination of using same spatula for multiple orders of pancakes is pretty apparent as during eating the pancakes on my order i noticed peices of what i thought were over toasted pancake pieces from same pancakes but they tasted off. Meaning someone elses non gluten free pancakes crumbs had gotten on to my pancakes causing my day to be ruined. This is speculation however after being sick all day i started thinking of all the food and remembering what the pancake experience was like. At the time i thought something was strange about that but it wasnt so obvious in the moment.
I am going to request refunds i will follow up via all reviews ive made to if they honor the refund or fight it. Getting a customer sick in this sensitive time is not good looking. My wife and i have an allergy sure but you offer a gluten free product and claimed you could handle gluten free yet didnt deliver that safe experience regrettably we are now suffering for chosing Les Brothers as our restaurant of choice for breakfest. We arent going to be able to eat all day as our stomachs are messed up bad and we are in a lot of pain.
Just like the country is wearing masks š· to avoid spreading sickness taking precautions in a kitchen when handling gluten free isnt a choice its a responsibility a restaurant takes on by offering gluten free items.
I will not be able to support les brothers as my new local choice for breakfest as the trust between customer and restaurant has been broken. If we had not gotten violently sick this restaurant would have made a new regular customer willing to pay the premium for their gluten...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery disappointed in my experience working there. The servers are hardworking people (generally) who genuinely like to make the dining experience enjoyable. This was not the issue. As a minor, the absolute disrespect towards me as said minor was severely unprofessional. The lack of discussion of pay is used to (without your knowledge) to cut down finances. The way management (specifically Georgia) is undoubtedly catty towards the female servers creates a toxic environment. Involving workers within the staff base with their rude unneeded thoughts about the other servers makes this work environment absolutely intolerable. The management encourages us to be a team but on the other hand- talks down and gossips about their workers when they make a rare mistake) They regard loyal and adored staff by customers as "incapable of this job, not right for this job, rude, etc" There is not enough structure or respect between staff at this establishment. When it comes to the regulars and new customers- I enjoyed my time interacting and serving them. No complaints there. And when it comes to the food, I have seen bones show up in plenty of boneless products, questionable food prep (compared to basic food prep standards) , and plenty of complaints about SEVERELY mediocre or "disgusting" food. There are so many great restaurants in the area. Choose these establishments to support quality management who will guarantee you a quality experience and delicious food. Don't waste your beautiful mornings and money to sit next to windows infested with bugs just to find a bone in your meatless omelette with a side of moldy greek toast with old liquid...
