Verizon — Local services in Worth Township

We came in to take advantage of an offer for $800 off the phones we wanted. The website stated our phones would be $11.11/month each with a trade in.

The employee told me I had to make a "down payment" of $250. I asked why I would have to make a down payment if I'm going to be making payments to pay off the balance. He kept using the term "down payment," until he finally admitted the $250 is for them to put on a screen protector and transfer my information to the new phone. This can easily be done at home, and I was told I'm not allowed to do so, you have no choice but to pay the $250 per phone.

The $250 is not a down payment, it takes nothing off of the cost of your phone. It's an extremely deceptive business practice.

I was also told that the deal Verizon contacted me about could only be used on one line, meaning only one phone could be upgraded. I got the perception that I was being scammed, so we left. Good thing we did, because ordering online saved us over $1,000 versus this store.

I contacted Verizon and they said the deal can be applied to both lines. Less than an hour later, our phones are ordered with the $800 off applied to both lines. We had to pay $7 sales tax, and a $35/line upgrade fee on the website. Much better than the $250/line "down payment" plus whatever other fees they charge at this store.

Please just call Verizon or chat with an agent on...

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Bought several accessories, some of which I decided to return same due to finding them priced significantly lower elsewhere. Employees do not properly express payment stipulations and policies. Very poor customer service and refund policies are absolutely absurd. Was told I’d receive it through Zelle because they don’t issue refunds the same way they accept payments (via Apple Pay). After waiting 24/48 hr time period was given no other information and was only given option to receive a check in the mail. There’s No support for the customer to contact for explanations and feel at ease, just poor answers from crew members who really don’t seem to care about anything...

Kara was absolutely amazing! I switched company’s after 20 years! And she was so knowledgeable and friendly. I had to return for an issue and she took care of it with ease and compassion!

she was the only one working , and handled multiple peoples at once. A constant flow of people entered and were quickly taken care of and became satisfied customers! As my issue took some time I was able to observe her work ethic and it is top notch! She’s always organizing , cleaning and bettering the store and you can see she takes pride in her work, and place of work!

She travels to different stores, and I will definitely be going to see her if I have any issues in the future!!
