Did not enjoy my experience. I made an appointment a couple days ahead for a cut wash and style. Was told 35 and it was in fact 45. The girl who originally was supposed to do my hair did not have the confidence to do so she said she had been doing hair I think 13 months. A different lady stepped in that didn’t have much time so I felt very rushed. My hair wash was rough it hurt and when home I still had soap in my hair. The cut was not what I wanted. I showed a video that had a step by step tutorial for what I asked for. The result was not at all what I wanted and nothing like the cut I showed. Could I have left after the first stylist wasn’t skilled enough yea but considering the is a highly rated salon in town I didn’t think it would end up this way. Also if as a stylist your skill has limits on an easy front layer cut maybe you shouldn’t take over the phone appointments or at least announce that before the client drives across town to be embarrassed and disappointed. The lady who did my hair was very nice and seemed skilled but I guess only when I’m her comfort zone idk. Just very disappointed. Now it’ll be another year before I’ll have the length to get the cut I truly wanted. Anyone wondering it was...

I LOVE MY HAIRDRESSER! I found 'HAVEN' a few months ago at my daughter in law's salon. She and I discussed what I wanted, she asked questions to make sure she understood and throughout my haircut, she would ask questions, clarify what I wanted or make suggestions. I have auburn hair that is coarse and it's wavy to curly. I wear it short. My hair grows quickly and can be cut, not trimmed, every 2 or 3 weeks. Unfortunately for Haven, my hair has been too grown out the last 2 times I've gone and she really has had a job on her hands! Regardless, she never complains, acts impatient or rushed. She is very meticulous and I can tell she does her best to make sure I get the cut I ask for and to the very best of her ability! Don't let her age concern you! She is very talented! As a person, Haven is very kind, friendly and super sweet! I plan to continue using Haven for all my hair care needs for as long as she will have...

I’ll never have any idea how the actual haircut would have gone, because I left 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time when the stylist said she’d still need another ten minutes with the girl in front of me, not to mention clean up time. Starting 30 minutes after your scheduled time is insane - people have jobs to get to. A stylist would never allow a client to come in 30 minutes late and still have their appointment, and client’s time is just as valuable. Not to mention the fact that the stylist never provided any updates about how late we’d be starting, and made no attempt...
