My wife had placed a order at casa brava and asked me to stop by and pick it up. Once inside , I was ignored by the staff. One staff member walked around me to help the people behind me. There was no way he knew I was there for a pick up order. The person behind the counter was busy with someone else. So when the staff member came back, I told him I had a pick up order and he pointed to the counter and walked off. Now when the person behind the counter was done with the other customer, I told him I had a pick up order for my wife and gave him her name. He said what she order. Told him I didn't know, he says call her now, I have other orders. Called her and I told the person what was ordered. He hands me the bag and then takes it out of my hand. ( the order was pre payed) management came and asked me her name , told him and he hands my bag and never said a word. This is one of the rudest I've ever been treated in any resturant in this town. There food my be good but there staff is beyond rude. We will NEVER step in ur rude resturant again. And I will be passing this to A...
Read moreFirst time here, definitely not the last! I'm extremely picky when it comes to Mexican food. So much so that when I travel I refuse to go to any Mexican restaurants because my hometown Mexican restaurant ( Los Arcos Rolla Mo) is it for me. BUT we were visiting family and they decided on this place. At first I was worried, the place seemed dirty ( a LOT of dust on the light fixtures- of course that's something I would notice). But the waiter put our tables together ( we had 11 or so people and no reservation) he cleaned them and was very attentive the entire time we were there. The food was incredible, I ordered the Ranchero Mexicana ( or something like that). Let me tell you- ORDER THE HALF, it was SO MUCH FOOD! Or order the full and take home leftovers, you do you. Our drinks stayed full the whole time and they sang happy birthday to the birthday girl! So pleased with the experience we had here, and I'm so...
Read moreVisited on a Tuesday evening (5:30 pm). It was a bright sunny evening and about 90F outside. Almost immediately upon entering the place, you get the feeling that you are in a basement as it is considerably darker than the outside. Does not send the message of a bright, fun place to be. The place was mostly empty but for 1 or 2 tables that had customers in it. Chips and Salsa were quite good and tasty. The Salsa was good but would have been even better with Cilantro in it that would have given it some freshness. Service was prompt and quite friendly. No complaints there. I ordered the Carne Asada plate with extra beans and it came with a side of Guacamole and Pico de Gallo. The meat was tender and well flavored. There was plenty of grilled onions that went with the meat that added to the taste. Overall was quite happy with the food. The place looks a bit run down and seems like it has seen...
