5 stars for Janice who helped with my purchase of 2 burberry bags. She was a pleasure, patient with the swarm of people and dressed very chic. After waiting forever in line, my negative review is for the sales person who was very condescending and kept chiming in at cash register (she was not the one ringing me up). I’m assuming she was a manager of some type. One of the burberry bags was missing the crossbody leather strap - I think a big deal. My understanding from Janice is that I was going to receive an additional discount because of that. Alas that was not the case and I didn’t even have the energy to argue. It was a final sale with a yellow sticker. I said ok with me. The second burberry had no yellow sticker but she proceeded to tell me that it was final sale too. Ok weird but their store, their rules. What I didn’t like was the feeling I was starting to get from her. That I was the type to buy and return. That I was haggling for “deals”. No the product was missing 25% of its being, so many places discount if damaged, etc. She then proceeds to bellow from the back area “don’t forget to write - Missing strap” on the receipt. WAIT KAREN, Didn’t you just remind me 3x this was all final sale. Relax yourself. You know I expect this kind of snobby behavior at a real Saks, but hey we are Off Saks dear. And it’s not like we aren’t spending big bucks at an Off Saks. Don’t talk to me like that. I noticed this same shameful attitude towards other non white people shopping around the designer section. Read moreThe worst service ever. I purchased a shoes recently. I wear the shoes twice and could not wear it again for health reason. The shoes was $200 and still has the tag with the price on the bottom of the shoes and I also have the receipt. I went seeking either to return the shoes or to get a store credit. The sales woman who saw me did not like my accent I think. Right away she said we can't return it. I told her can I get a store credit or I don't mind to lose even %50 from the price I paid just give me a store credit ? she said no, and took me to the store manager Jane who has no clue about customer service. The woman sales person told her they can't return the shoes I told her I just need a store credit or take out %50 and let me buy something else ? Jane asked me to wait and I had back surgery and she went to help 2 other customer in the jewelry department. I waited 15 minutes then she came back and was confused, and told me she can give discount I told her that is fine then she said she cant take the shoes back ? I told her the price tag is still on the bottom of the shoes and I have the receipt. She said all she can do is to give me $20 off the shoes. I said fine and back starts to hurt me of standing. She went to the cash register then she told me she can't give me $20 discount. What kind of manager that company hired ??? I like someone from the upper management to contact me as asap.
