I am going to share my experience at Lincoln Tech Paramus, I have been attending this school for the past year and have had nothing but a bad taste in my mouth. I am extremely disgruntled at the fact that one week before my program ends my instructor was pulled from our class in the middle of the review of our RMA exam. This makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE this instructor has done nothing but have our best interests since the beginning of our MOD. She ALWAYS made sure we were up to date with the current material needed for us to pass this exam. To have her removed from us really left all of us really upset because she made our classes interesting, fun and interactive. Ms. Monique always made sure that we were SET UP FOR SUCCESS now all they have done is SET US UP FOR FAILURE. How can you tell us as students that our date for our national exam is "up in the air" no communication via e-mail, or phone. I can not believe that this happened, this is not the first time this has happened. Every national exam I have taken at this school there was issues, between half of a class not able to take an exam, to only 3 out of 16 students passing another. The prior campus president never answered an e-mail or phone messages, I was just left out to the wind when I had questions as a student which still to this day were never answered. Ms. Monique came in on a Saturday to proctor our exam on a day when campus was not even open, for her to take time out of her busy schedule and time away from her family SHOULD SPEAK VOLUMES. The fact that I am sitting here with packets to review with no answer key baffles me. What I am I supposed to guess or GOOGLE the right answers? I also have yet to meet the new campus president whom I HAVE NEVER MET!? She does not know what we need because we have no staff at night besides our instructors. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will not refer anyone to come to this school in the future. They compel us to "have open communication with leadership", what kind of leadership do we have at this organization? I am beyond baffled that no one seems to know anything at this campus, from 8-10 phone calls that go unanswered, to removing our BEST INSTRUCTOR right before the biggest exam. Again this experience has steered me to continue my...
Read moreDO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL. The education department does not support you, and will always say in a subliminal manner, that you are the issue. Do not even try to talk to Dr. Brown, she will send you to someone else in the department, who will then send you right back to her. I ask for extra help, however, you need to accompdate the education department, VS them accomodate you for success. Communication in this place is terrible, and I should have realized when my admissions representative Cynthia barely reached out to help me get started. It was like I only heard from her on Tuesdays, and the entire process felt so unorganized since the school does not help you with financial aid. I needed help with my FAFSA, and everytime i thought i was done, nope something was done wrong, and i must have spoken to 5 different FA advisors (3 different remote and 2 different ones on campus who barely assisted either). Admissions and Financial Aid were always telling me conflicting information, making that process very hard and long to finish. In September, God forbid you need to use the bathroom or come to school late due to an emergency, they implamented a rule that you will be locked out of the classroom. So please make sure you never need to use the bathroom if you come here. The break times are a mess. The lunch room is so small, and its like everyone goes on break at the same time which means the bathrooms are full, no place to sit and eat, and don't even try to go downstairs to get food, your break is over by the time you even get your food. Which means you'll be locked out of your classroom again. I am SO GLAD I decided to leave and transfer to a different school. I left Lincoln Tech with a 3.4 GPA so i was not a bad student. But sometimes its better to leave a toxic place, especially when my cousin was informing me about her internship experience there back in the spring/beginning summer time 2025. She warned me to get out before i get in much deeper, because they throw you to the wolves with finding an internship site. If you want to feel like a prisoner, and treated like a 14 year old, than this is the place for you. Currently, it is like a breath of fresh air at American Institute. Please check out that school, you...
Read moreHonestly I would not recommend this school, this specific location, for nursing maybe it was different a few month ago and with different organizations, but the teachers are not helpful at all. When u apply to the school the advisor makes it sound like they are very supportive and helpful and your money is being worth it. Big LIE currently was failing one of my class which is Funds, I needed 1 point, I ask the teacher multiple times mam is there something you can do to help me improve my grade, is there something you can do to help me better myself, the answer I got was a No there is nothing I can do. What do you mean there is nothing you can do your are the professor and have the final say, they are just don’t care about helping people, it’s all about the money honestly!!! Since the organization have changed with new directors and new teacher the school is a hot mess. Do not come here find another school or different location, where you can get more support because nursing is a lot and you need someone to teach that will have patience and someone who actually teach the class and not give you YouTube videos to watch. I did not pay 33,000 to come to school to watch YouTube videos, I can do that at home. There is 2 real teachers that I had that’s very helpful and care about their students and want to see their students be successful, the rest is just doing it because they need a side hustle they are not passionate about it at all and it looks as if they are miserable at their job. Maybe they shouldn’t teach if they are miserable, because not everyone is at the same paced some students might learn faster than another and not everyone taking the nursing program is already experienced in the medical field. Where you expect them to know from the start on what to do. You as the teacher/ leader need to teach your student the right way and do your best as you can to help someone, because it’s what nursing and teaching about you have to be a...
