SKECHERS Factory Outlet — Local services in Paramus

I was at this Bergen town center location in the beginning of April. My shopping experience was one I wish I could forget but fortunately I can't and I will not be returning to this unprofessional store. The store wasn’t very busy the staff was trying to mostly keep busy it seemed. I had an interaction with a young lady I didn't get her name but she wore glasses and has dreadlock hair. I needed help finding a sandal I approached her she was sitting down on the big gray ladder I asked if she can help me finding a size. She looks over to me rolled her eyes and sighed as if I was a neusance or interrupting her and as she came around down from the ladder she made an inappropriate I would say sexually charged comment out loud to her coworker standing behind the register and laughed. I didn't think it was appropriate for work and made me feel uncomfortable being helped by this individual. I ended up just walking out and went to another store because I was made uncomfortable and unwelcomed all because I asked for help looking for a size. I will NOT be returning to this location again. I like Skechers been shopping for over 10! years but I'll be going to a different location from now on! If I could give zero...

I only recently learned about this store location, although the truth be known, because of the State Lockdown Mandates, the store and the mall in which it is located, had been closed for months. I love Skechers because they have the greatest selection of styles, and as importantly, a fit for every foot type. While the store is somewhat small, and with the limited amount of folks allowed in at any given time, coming here is a delight for me. I especially appreciate and commend the Manager, Edwin, for keeping this place in such tip-top condition, straightening up after the customers who are wont to make a mess in their excitement to find a style and to try it on. Edwin is quick to jump in to assist both his staff and we the customers and he appears to be the ideal type of a Manager who knows how to do everything that needs to be done and is never reluctant to pitch in. I recently purchased two pairs of shoes for my children from the Sketchers store at Bergen Town Center in Paramus. After just one use, one of the shoes began tearing from the front. When I returned to the store to request an exchange or refund, I encountered the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

The store lady associate was incredibly rude and dismissive. She refused to process my return or exchange, despite the fact that I was well within the 45-day return period. Instead of addressing my concerns, she abruptly interrupted me and called for the next customer while I was still speaking.

This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied with Sketchers. The quality of the product was poor, and the customer service was unprofessional and disrespectful. I will not be shopping at Sketchers again and would advise others to consider...
