This store resembles a TJMaxx, but doesn't have the variety in their selection of home goods like TJ. TJ has good coffee options where Burkes has almost zero. There may have been one little coffee pot to pick from, but that is all. Burkes has just as many clothes and may actually have a better selection than TJMaxx. The biggest plus about Burkes is the cleanliness. It is an outlet store without the look of an outlet store. The reason I gave this store a 4 star rating is the checkout wait was very long the day I was there. But, they started out with one cashier and they called for another one when they noticed the line backing up. They have a process, but I think they could've called for another person to get the line moving faster. The employees aren't necessarily rude, but they're not overly welcoming either. It's a shame I go try buy a purse off the clearance rack. And it's no tag I didn't know that and I proceed to checkout a worker hollas and says you buying my purse. I so ole really.. I didn't the manger and employees make up prices so they can buy items for themselves. And plus they lied trying to make up a price for this purse.. So the co worker could buy it. So if this a outlet and on clearance then CUSTOMER'S should be able to buy it. Then I ask can I put it on hold no you can't. It's sad you can't even shop without being LIED TOO. The store was Amazing! So were the prices! But the employer/manager (whatever she was) followed me around the entire time I was there. She didn't even hide the fact that she was watching every move I made, thinking I was goin to steal. I said something to her and out loud 4 or more times. She continued to hover over me an didn't even respond to my comments. I have never felt so insulted in my life! I spent over $250 in the store anyway tho.
