UPDATE 8/2022 - My car wouldn't crank in the Save-a-Lot parking lot bright and early one morning. But I thought - luckily I'm RIGHT beside AAP. I've never really understood cars, but I had assumed that it was my battery or maybe my alternator. I walked over to the store and asked the gentleman at the counter this: "Hey! I'm not sure much about cars, but I am parked right behind the store. It's not starting, but all of the lights work. Do you have any suggestions of what I can do?" He looked me and said, "Well I'm not a mechanic". 😶

He suggested I jump it off and go from there. So I bought some jumper cables and left. After messing around with a few things under the hood on my own, I got her to crank up and drove straight to AutoZone. I walked in and said the exact same sentence to their employees. He grabbed a few machines and went straight to my car. He happily tested my battery - but quickly informed me that it's overheating and essentially leaking (smelled like rotten eggs) - and that's most likely from my alternator. We went back inside and I dropped $600+ for a battery, alternator, and belt removal kit rental. My car runs as good as new - thanks to Autozone!

Was just really disappointed that no one was willing to test anything on my car (even with the signs saying that they have the ability to). I lost my dad in 2006 and have always depended on the kindness of the autopart employees to at least point me in the right direction when it comes to matters of my car. I didn't expect him to go out to the lot and fix it himself or give me a step by step tutorial of everything that was wrong with it, but to just dismiss me with absolutely no care was a bummer.

I'll update my review to a 3 since I have had positive past experiences with Lenny and Joe! (but this particular experience was 0 stars) Lenny and Joe were amazing! Joe checked my check engine light and told me exactly what to do next. Then he changed my windshield wipers. :) I do wish they have more fun/ exciting car stuff (for girls) but I get it :) This experience was 5...

I woke up to a completely dead vehicle,had to get a jump to get across town to make it to AAP! I walked in and Sam and Jason greeted me instantly.I was asked what they could help me with and in under 10 minutes Jason had me rang up and the new battery completely installed and my car was as good as new again! As we all know things like that generally happen at the "worst possible times" but having the fast and friendly service from them made it not so bad! Absolutely greatful for the help I received! It was unfortunately raining down he installed it with a smile on his face the whole time! For sure! A great group of employees...

There are a several auto parts stores in Paris. The last few times I have stopped in, I was not impressed. There are other shops with more knowledgeable staff to answer questions, also twice in the last year my girls have stopped there with car issues and they were given bad advice. If you know what your looking for they may have it, but do not expect any help from them. I send my kids to AutoZone instead, especially if they are not sure...
